I am a person working in the health sector. I am looking forward to one day co-bitcoin be used to pay for medical examination and treatment and health care services.
That would be great coz it will increase the demand for bitcoin. But maybe they still see BTC as a variable that may effect their monthly profit. We couldn't convince them that this is more efficient coz there's already online banking and also debit/credit card that could be use for paying. And if you have BTC and you wish to use it to pay your medical expenses, you could encash it and use it as you wish or convert it into cash deposit it on your account, you can do these things online (but still depends on your country).

It requires investment to get to that period. All things considered it doesn't make a difference when your working environment office can get installment with bitcoin. Until further notice the choice is as yet private so it isn't conceivable there will be mediation from different gatherings. Not at all like when the administration has settled on a choice by influencing the control, it to will be altogether different from what will happen later.

I support this kind of involvement of technology to health. I was actually waiting for such idea but all we can do is wait until the government settle things out. I think cryptocurrencies are only focused on economics, trading and earning. I am hoping for a broader perception of the fast transactions. It would be really great to see this technology be involved in medical area.

It is a good thing to use Bitcoin in a work like a medical, but it will take a lot of time to make it and have to make many policies. The government and the banks must meet Bitcoin and work together in different non-government organizations.

Bitcoin is still growing and with new projects coming into the blockchain technology, that time will come when bitcoin is used in the payment of hospital bills and other bills. As at now, we have some projects who accept their altcoins in the payments of some healthcare deliveries and I believe in a time to come, bitcoin will be integrated in those projects too.

Well it's true that bitcoin still cannot be used for medical billing, however there are already altcoins doing such like Docademic, they use block chain in order to use for payment, also block chain technology is becoming a wonderfuo innovator for most healthcare companies just like united health group, they are already hiring developers to help them create a block chain, however this will not be in a form of ICO rather just information of the members or subscribers that they and other health carr systems have, in the future, we might see crypto currency being used as means of payment for healthcare.

very good expectations, many people expect bitcoin used for every transaction, bitcoin spreads in our lives, bitcoin becomes a balancing of a country's economy, but to realize it all is not easy, and takes a long time.

I always analyze that when many countries start creating and receiving crypto, it is a sign that bitcoin will be accepted by the world in the near future.

Not all governments are ready to accept bitcoin yet and bitcoin hasn't fully suitable for currency due to its volatility, the transaction amount of medical billing is huge, if bitcoin price fall down a little, itw will hugely affected, but in the future I think there will be implementation to that area, some of the alt coins already launch the project to cover health and medical expenses using the coin, and medical is a vital sector, it will be great if crypto could cover this sector

There are alot of ICO working for that particular use. Bitcoin still needs some endorsement and support to be able to do that. Even bitcoin is still not accepted in some stores, I think thatvis the tirst step before yo7 can see this on hospital bills. That will he the more advance use of btc and crypto in the near future, which will be a result of pure hardwork and support.

I am a person working in the health sector. ~

then why don't you start from yourself?

that is the problem with most cases who ask about adoption, everyone should start from their own. start accepting bitcoin as payment, start asking people to pay you as payment (like asking your employee), start spending your bitcoin wherever you can, start asking others to accept bitcoin payments.

From the sound of it, he’s not a practitioner, just someone who works in healthcare. I think my employer would laugh me out of the room if I told him to accept Bitcoin. Smiley

I’ve definitely read about some sole practitioner attorneys or small law firms taking BTC. Not doctors, though. Healthcare is very corporate where I’m from — not likely to accept BTC. But the fact that I’m seeing acceptance among other professionals and also for things like real estate tells me that adoption is ramping up.

Specifically using Bitcoins as an payment for medical treatment or medicine etc. Would be a bad idea because the value of Bitcoin is too unstable. But the idea of using cryptocurrencies also for medical treatment is great. It will also become a big help for those people, who eventually needs helps from family or friends far away to pay expenses to hospitals etc. If they can use a mobilephone and have an internetconnection, they dont need a bank in between or need help from other instances to transfer money. I´m not exactly sure about MedicCoin and Medicalchain, which possibilities they give. But its worth to research.

I believe that the answer is the same as in any other business. It is up to them to decide if they will and/or need btc payments. But there are a lot of projects which promise to use block chain tech for medical data safety , prescriptions and cross border medical treatment, lets see if they will succeed and if there is place for it in this industry.

Bitcoin is never used in medical billing because bitcoin is a cryptocurrency that still not yet approved by the government to be a payment for such things, like hospital, restaurant, groceries, and etc. If you want to still benefit something from bitcoin, then withdraw the money you earn from bitcoin, use it to the hospital, restaurant or anything you wanted to pay using bitcoin. That's the best way than saying to the doctors or managers and etc that you will pay using bitcoin. That will do it.

It will be eventually, but I don't know if Bitcoin is what will be used. What will be used instead will be most probably medical records being timestamp or verified through the blockchain. I could hardly see Bitcoin having any use case in the medical field other than payment, which the Bitcoin network is simply not ready for at the moment.

It takes time to get to that era. But actually it does not matter when your workplace agency can receive payment with bitcoin.
for now the decision is still private so it is not possible there will be intervention from other parties.
Unlike when the government has made a decision by making the regulation, it will be very different from what will happen later.
If I am paid for a bitcoin in my electronic wallet then it would be great if someone like me is the new one that I wish bitcoin not used in medical billing  it wonderfull

i think it is still developing so we can hope that it would happen very soon.
In order for that to happen there must be someone who is willing to start it. Maybe that part is still in progress and developing that's why we don't see it yet. We should push that idea because it's great and advantageous. It's just bitcoin is not at that point yet. Maybe soon once bitcoin is ready we're gonna see it.

Maybe it's because bitcoin is not yet ready to get involved in that part. I think it is still developing as of now and not capable enough to bring the needs of medical billing. Let's just wait until it happens cause it will come sooner orthan later. That's a great thing that we should focus on cause it willwill be a great opportunity for bitcoin community.
