Bitcoin prices extended a downward movement below the USD 6,400 level. BTC / USD tested the USD 6,200 support area where buyers appeared. Currently the price is recovering and moving higher towards the main obstacle. Likewise, most altcoins such as Ethereum, ripple and bitcoin cash form a support base and start up correction with positive signs.

I don't think so I see bitcoin price down with alltcoin price also down. Even when bitcoin price up alltcoin price down so I don't compare that price

I also can't think why bitcoin is down and altcoin is rising. What is because investing in bitcoin is too expensive and can be detrimental. If I personally don't think like that, even I think bitcoin is profitable.  |

this means that the distribution of altcoin is very concentrated.People trade altcoin to buy bitcoin. Bitcoin looks like it is moving slowly because btc has experienced a high price rise and it suddenly falls, while altcoin is just for pumping and then dies.

if in my opinion and I see the current market situation. the price of bitcoin is now down and the price of altcoin is also down. there are still no signs of both bitcoin and altcoin to return the price to rise.

Not all investors prefer to keep their capital in Bitcoin, when there is a hint of price snagging, they temporarily buy altcoin, thereby increasing its price.

I do not think it sounds.. Bitcoin and other reputable Altcoin are typically up and down in the Cryptocurrency market..I can see.the level of increase or decrease in value is not the same..Many factors can be deduced from the rise of up Altcoin but I don't really understand if that happens..

The crypto market lives according to the laws of the usual market-if the demand for one product increases,then the demand for another decreases, respectively, the same happens with the price. You are absolutely right, and that's why the market tend to balance up the unease that's created during the demand for either altcoin or Bitcoin |

It actually due to last 4 months bitcoin price is stuck, so many people got bored with bitcoin. So they are moving into altcoin, that's why we see the price is increasing almost all altcoin, however, once bitcoin get strong, altcoin price will fall.

I actually do not see a signify rise in altcoin price especially when bitcoin is rising, with just a few altcoins has such qualities but with that they usually do not stay increase for long. Btc has some control over most altcoins and definitely follow suit when prices go down or rise.

This simply happens because people are responsive to the price movement and as they react to gain from either side that's considered to move upwards, the market then find a balance until their is a common equilibrium. That's why BTC and Alts don't usually move upward together especially during a very steepy move otherwise both could just move gradually together |

I usually know that each altcoin rises when the price of bitcoin falls. but what affects the altcoin is that the bitcoin falls and maybe the bitcoin is used by most of the alt coins in exchange

It's not always like that, because if you look carefully when the market is on bearish all crypto coins will go down (wether in value or price per satoshi).
even though there is an altcoin that rises, it must be due to an exchange listing, good news about that altcoin, or their other development.

I see a lot of people ask this question, but the common reason here is more of human factors, remember it's real people that trade cryptocurrency, even when robots trade they are simply made to imitate humans and do exactly what humans should do while trading. So the common thing that happen is when Bitcoin price starts sliding down, people tend to move their coins from BTC to USDT and to Altcoins to make room for purchases when it starts recovering upward and thereby making Altcoins to move up, same thing happens when BTC begins to move forward, people sell their Alts to buy BTC and Alts price moves downwards the more |

I personally don't understand why can it be like this? Maybe a factor like this, because many are vilifying bitcoin or giving negative information about bitcoin, then the price of bitcoin goes down. |

I don't think you can really boil it to see it as just Alt vs. Bitcoin. That's if you are looking for specific reasons that will cover all alts. If you narrow it down to more specific, it may be easier to learn more about how the market works in that regard. |
