AUR is not output by the official government. This can also be a bad joke.

Actually the gouv help de dev by sending all ID for that. so,we expect the next bitcoin there  Cheesy
What is "ID" and how can you send auracoins to "ID"?

Read last page pls,Everybody came with this affirmation....

Nice.....wait and see.

The remaining 630,000 coins will be divided into two parts. 315,000 will go to towards a development fund and/or towards an Auroracoin foundation. 315,000 will go towards a charity cause or causes, to be determined democratically by the Auroracoin community.

315.000 = 15.750.000 $

I make a coin for germany  Grin

If you make a coin for Germany, please consider x11 hash algorithm like the one darkcoin is using. It is ASIC resistant and runs much cooler than scrypt. Importantly, it saves a lot of electricity.

What I think is funny is how so many of the attacks on this coin equally apply to Bitcoin. When Bitcoin hit $1000k, how many merchants were available to spend it? Sorry but your little wordpress store converting gift card sales to Bitcoin doesn't count. And people attack the credibility of the creator for being anonymous and holding a huge premine? Well just who the hell is Satoshi and why does he not show himself either and how do you think the market would react to him cashing out his million Bitcoins? And finally, it is even more funny we are being told Iceland is not ready for crypto yet we are supposed to believe Bitcoin will change the world within a year. I think a small island nation of 300k people who all mostly live in the same city is a good place to experiment more than the speculative halls of exchanges and geek forums but that's just me.

Icelandic politician and parliament member writes about Aurora coin being a potential scam:

http://translate.google.com/translate?sl=auto&tl=en&js=n&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Ffrostis.is%2Fauroracoin-peningasvindl%2F

So how exactly is this coin supported by the government? It's not.

We need to spread this before innocent people invest any more bitcoin in this scam.

lol litecoin defeated
1. Premine 99% of coins (10500000/10600000)
2. Pump 1000 btc into it or let the suckers do that for you
3. hurr durr we are bigger than litecoin
4. Dump to 1 satoshi
 Grin

Not now. Big dump will began after 25th March. Dev is not idiot. He is smart, very smart. Wink

i really don't understand why are u constantly bitching about this coin and spamming this forum with the same bullshit over and over again?
don't like the coin? ok! nobody's forcing you to buy or mine this.. go and make your own coin, pool, project, whatever...
you've stated your opinion several times already.. there's enough spamming in this thread, so please don't add to it..

you can clearly see the coin is being HEAVILY manipulated atm...... but fools will follow into the slaughterhouse.

Yes, some BIG WHALES KEEPING THE PRICE DOWN so they can buy MORE!!1

But seriously, could you pumpers, speculators, and fudsters please start another thread for that zero-value crap.. a lot of people who are new to cryptos will be introduced to them through this coin and having to read pages and pages of that same bull worded just a bit differently is not going to get them excited of the whole crypto movement. They might even decide this kindergarten is not for them at all.

Upgrading http://aur.scrypthp.com after next block to keep up with traffic increase.  Once we hit the next block we'll be adding additional CPU power, there will be 10 minutes of downtime and a stratum restart which may require miners to restart their miners.  We'll be having 0% fee for 24 hours after the maintenance as thanks and then returning to our normal 1% fee after that.  Thanks to all our miners!  http://aur.scrypthp.com

If some Icelandic politicians were not coming out against Auroracoin, I would be worried.  The more such comments are made, the more likely the common man in Iceland will be to not only hear about Auroracoin, but to accept it.

I like that it has become big enough to make them nervous.

Very exciting!
