Awesome and thanks! My pool will be donating a portion of its fees and donations to gatra for development. I've updated my pool and it should work now: ric.infinitypool.tk

My pool will also donate 20% of its fees to the dev(s) of the most optimized open source miner for stratum.

Hi, this is my first post here:)
I'd like to share my RIC solo-miner code, embedded in riecoind.

https://bitbucket.org/a00k/riecoin

Just getting home but been following thread.

It is for linux only?

If you are going to leave your BTC on an exchange please send it to this address instead 1GH3ub3UUHbU5qDJW5u3E9jZ96ZEmzaXtG, I will at least use the money better than someone who steals it from the exchange. Thanks Wink

So far, yes. Gatra will release official windows builds later.
Also, I realized I needed to update riecoind for this to work. I am doing that now.

Gatra: were a fair portion of the shares you found on testnet rejected by stratum-mining?

I do like the design and color of the site.

Refreshing to see something different.

Surfer43, thank you for testing this yesterday.  I released v0.0.1.
Now you can fix the sieve size manually, without relying on unstable probing.

sometimes I get bursts of invalid shares. In all cases I've seen so far, It's the miner and not the pool. I'm debugging now.

You have an office, wow. That makes you incredibly trustworthy. We have an office too (the address you posted) so how can we be "crooks"?
Now.. would you please read&respond to my message on the pool? It's not nice to run ahead and post accusations. You were so quick I didn't even have time to answer your questions.

I don't believe for a second that jh00 is up to no good, at least regarding users of his pool. Using fake company info is however certainly on shakey legal ground.

dga, I don't believe it's right for you to be publishing personal information about private citizens. I would expect someone of your academic standing would think about the consequences of such actions.

Just to clarify this, the info is not fake. Or at least not on purpose. All data is correct except the company name. When we registered the domain we tried to think ahead and it turned out that "ypool gmbh" is not the company name/form that we settled for. It will be corrected of course. The problem is that Miki (primer-) doesn't even want to hear our explanation. He just came here to make us look bad. I have no idea what I did wrong to make him this angry.

Thanks for clarifying - this should surely settle this issue once and for all, and I hope there are no further personal attacks from either 'side'!

whats the status about pools?
does rminerd works as well as the xpt miner?

i would also suggest to keep compiled versions of everything up to date and available,
some people dont get sources working so they wont change to another pool..
