No . not all. Only few people do only loose when the market is down because they tend to panic and ended up selling their holdings for a low price . while most of the people are continuing to hold their coins because they are already aware that the market dip is only temporary .

there is also cases that a seller dont looses at all even if the market is down because not all sellers are investors , some are also earners or workers that works thru crypto related jobs and been paid by cryptos .

in my opinion they will lose the money they have when prices fall when they sell the cryptocurrency they have because if they continue to hold the cryptocurrency they have then their assets will remain and no loss IF not sold at a very cheap price.

In my humble opinion everyone will lose the money when they sell thier cryptoassets while the price are below their initial buying point. Although, by holding their respected cryptoassets. They will just have t be more patient than ever to not lost anything in the downtrend market.

A lot of people loses money yes but some people gain profit from it.
Manipulators especially gain profit from these. How? at first they re the one who drops market , when price falls they collect with their fiat and put a sell wall so to be sure price will not rise, after they collect enough coin they remove wall and price automaticly starts to rise but also they use their last fiat to rise more steeply so price rises and everbody talks about btc is going to moon will be 1 million like fools. So panic buyers, indicator based bots, noobs, newcomers , some investors starts to buy like no tomorrow then price goes higher automaticly, when it comes to a great value manipulators starts to sell for profit. This is why you see steep rises and falls on graphs.

Most participants in the crypto market lose money when the exchange rate falls. But the only reason for this is that these are ordinary people who are just experiencing good luck. They did nothing to earn money. Just buying coins is not enough. You need to learn a lot of information before buying any coins. After obtaining the necessary knowledge, you need to gain experience in trading. And when you have the knowledge and experience, then you will find ways to earn money in any market. Even now, when the price falls it is possible to earn. After all, the price does not decrease constantly. Sometimes price declines, and sometimes price grows, it is on this you can earn. It's just a short term trade. There is nothing complicated in it, if you understand everything. Moreover, there are strategies for earning in the bear market.
So trade is not just luck, it is necessary to think and calculate here.

Not everyone. You basically lose money if you sell at a loss since you're removing all chances to recover. This is where volatility works in a positive way as well since there will still be up and down movements. A profit will be a profit no matter how small it is.

That's mostly what happens with smaller coins. In case of Bitcoin this year, we haven't seen that form of manipulation with how whales don't have to do anything to get the price to tank. The bear market does all the dirty work.

Another thing is that whales aren't placing seriously large sell orders anymore at current levels. They are too afraid that a larger whale instantly buys up that entire sell wall with how high the demand for spot coins is.

It's nearly impossible to buy thousands of coins without significantly affecting the market nowadays. If a few thousand BTC sell wall pops up you can be sure that it'll be bought up with how much of an opportunity it is.

I have only seen very large buy orders (especially at Bitfinex) but no one dares to put up a significant amount of Bitcoin for sale.

BSV is not the real Bcash. Bcash is the real Bcash.

Some traders who do swing and day trade doesn't lose money from this down , some of them take advantage of the volatility of the price of Bitcoin. They do it for a living but it does not guarantee of earning a profit too since trading is riskier than holding.

If the market down of course you will lose money.  It doesn't means the market crash you lose money permanently because that is temporarily because market will recover. This is the great opportunity to buy more altcoins because it is very cheap compared to the last price of  few months.

Probably yes if you are selling off your coins when the market is down. But as long as you're still holding to it, you are not in the losing end yet. Just keep holding and keep track on the price movement in the market because for sure anytime soon bitcoin price and other cryptos will be back on its feet and will slowly recover that price depreciation.

Everyone loses money during bear market. I was remember what my friend told me lately that this months, people in crypto industry are suffering from a great devastation. An el nino to the market as well as to our investment happens but if there is a dry season, there will become also a showering of blessings and I know those who wait will get the fruit of their work someday! Just hold on guys.

I totally agree on you.You will only lose this time if you come up with panic selling but if you still trust crypto that it will bounce back its price soon and will somehow reach new heights so you keep holding your coins, then i think losing is very impossible.

I think yes, iam also loss much money. I did some mistake in trading, when the price of crypto going down more than 50% i use new money to buy more coins but the price keep down. I did not use stop loss because iam was believe the price will going up. But i will not loss until i sell all that my coins, so now i wait for next bullish of crypto.

Not everyone but maybe 70% to 85% of all the investors and holders. Why I said that because there are many professional traders and brokers around and they might have read the outcome of cryptocurrencies this year and sold all of their coins before the crash happened. They might also lost some but I'm sure that their gains still dominates.

I don't think everyone loses their money when the market is falling like this.
because they have ways and strategies to earn money when the market is down. they can also take advantage of situations like this so they don't suffer losses and I think they are buying for the short term.

There are a ton of peeps making money right now in a bear market and that's those shorters with the futures contracts and on Bitfiniex who trade with leverage. All those whales have to do is short the market constantly after they drive BTC up 5/7% and they make a hefty killing on every trade. Also, there are punp and dump groups that artificially manipulate the prices of Bitcoin and altcoins and if you are early in the pump all well and good, but if you FOMO in you are going to be stuck way until the next pumper comes along. I am trying to trade now as a day trader and despite the shitting market have managed to trade my wages two weeks in a row, so far so good.

Yes, People who bought the Bitcoin and other altcoins at the higher price are now in Big loos, so people who bought the coins at the higher price should wait until the market starts recovering because we don't know exactly when the market cap will reach the higher value.

So with how much bitcoin and all the altcoins are down, is it even possible for any trader to make any money?  Example let say this.  You buy btc at a very low price due to these dips.  Now you could either keep btc or buy altcoins with it.  Now the market goes down every single day.  First off, does anyone know if btc or any altcoins ever have a day where the prices drop every single hour?  Or is that impossible?

Anyways, with how much all the coins are dropping, is it even possible for any trader to make money on days or weeks like this?  Im thinking its only possible if they make sure they sell it at the right hour and minute etc in order to profit.  But of course if they are down almost all day, how is it even possible for anyone to make any money?  Sure when the market goes back up in a while, and the price gets higher than they bought it at and now they sell, the profit.  However, the same ppl who hold the coins will profit as well.

Because doesn't it seem like there is no skill involved at all it seems?  Because if the market is down for a long time, what percentage of traders are even making any money when the market is down?  Of course if you got a coin at like 10 cents a long time ago and then it went to 5 dollars... and now because of this.. its now down to say 1 dollar, well you are still up money if you sell it now.  But the same ppl who got this coin probably got it at over 3 dollars and lost a huge percentage of its value.

So is it true almost everyone loses money when the market is down?  And almost everyone makes money when the market is up?  Because if btc goes up, the alts follow.  BTC drops, everything follows.  Its like there is zero skill at all almost.   Such that yes when it goes up, some altcoins might go up higher than others.  Also why do certain very good altcoins drop when btc drop if that project is very good etc?  Yes i know you need btc to get that coin and vice versa but its like its either everyone wins or everyone loses.

So right now market is down a lot especially for those who bought not that long ago.  So where is the skill here?  Its basically when to sell and when to buy right?  However, when market is down like this, who is damn making any money?  Because isn't almost everyone losing money?  The only ppl that i could see that likes this huge dip are those that have usd/usdt ready and picking when to buy.  Of course they could have waited till btc was 8k and thought great i buy now or buy alts and each of these already lost a lot already.

Who is making any money now when the market is down?  The ppl who are selling?  Surely not since the price they sell now is much less than before.  Also just curious but does this apply to stocks and forex trading as well?  I know that well stock market goes up, doesn't almost all the stocks all go up it seems?  The same can be said of forex or am i wrong here?  I only know forex is money trading with different currencies etc.  Because when you look at other things like poker or sportsbetting... someone is winning and someone is losing.  Also to anyone that bets sports or knows about sports, you might hear how all the wise guys are losing money.  Wise guys are sophisticated sharp bettors that are much smarter than your average joe.   That average joe most likely bets very square picks... meaning like obvious public teams etc.  However, the thing is the public does win.  And when they do that, sportsbook would lose money.  But usually they get it back and the average joe loses it back betting very public plays and the sophisticated bettors aka sharps win again.  However, i heard of sharps having really bad seasons etc.

So based on that, doesn't it seem like crypto trading is basically everyone wins or everyone loses?  Because in sportsbetting, yes the house does win and they house could also have a losing streak.  But eventually they win back the average joes money.  But if the average joe gets lucky and goes on a huge run whether betting favorites or underdogs or whatnot, its possible for him to win for a long time or lose for a long time.  Also let say you have a few players who are sharp sportsbettors and a few average joes.  Well if the sharp guys are winning, most likely the average joes are losing.  If the sharp guys are losing, average joes are most likely winning.  I say this because they usually play opposite plays most of the time.  But no matter what, someone has to win.  Whether its the sportsbook or the bettor.  Also in sportsbetting, there is something called live betting where its like trading.  Basically you can bet on either side while the game is going on when odds change always etc.  But when you live bet, if one player bets this team while another player bets another team... remember each of these players are betting against the sportsbook, one player will win... the other loses.  Thus that is where the skill comes in.  So does anyone here feel like the market dictating winning or losing is just stupid?  I mean if market is down, who is making any money?  Its like ppl say when there is a bull market, everyone thinks they are a genius.  Well if its a bull market, the only thing you have to think about is okay i will buy btc but should i exchange it for altcoin or not and which one.

Anyone here have thoughts or opinions on this?  I got excited about cryptocurrency and trading and wanted to do it.  But now when i look at it, its basically look at the market.  There doesn't seem to be any skill in it.  Can anyone here correct me with any of my statements especially if i made any especially in sportsbetting?  Thanks.
Yes people is loses their money for the price dump and i know is the price dump we will rise up soon just wait for it .

I think, not everyone loses money when the market goes down because there are some people who can still make a profit by taking advantage of the price opportunity to go down by buying then selling again when prices rise, some are holding so they will not lose

You’re wrong… it’s not everyone that loses money when the price is going down. There are people who usually cut their loss and I’m very sure of that, they do it to avoid the loss and when they see that price is going back up you will see them jumping back again or once they see that price has dropped to its lowest.

It’s only those who don’t withdraw that experience the loss, but some people always make up their mind to hodl no matter what happens… It’s all about choice.
