but if that person can buy the coin at a very low price, he can still make a profit even if the market is down and this is only for people who can see this chance in a long time ago. not all people losses their money when the market is down and I am sure that there is any person that still makes the profit from the market and if you can do margin trading, you can make a short trade when the market is down so you can make a profit from the coin. but for doing margin trading, it needs high skill so you can detect where the price wants to go.

Yep, I kind off agree with you guy. Probably those who has taken advantage on market and bought some coin with a low price, he maybe have more likely to lose a little or they can get a good profit when the market is down. Everyone has their own strategy which can help them to manage and then reap a benefit in crutch time. If one has a wealth of knowledge, experience as well as skill, plus a little luck, he perhaps get some record in any fluctuation.
Yes that is right that we should try to trade bitcoin when the market is down , but I think that even if a person have bought bitcoin in high price and the price comes down, he should try to hold their bitcoin for some time and when the market recover should sell it, through this way he can prevent himself from a big lost.

Most of coin holders - yes, they do loose money when market falls but there are still a number of people who manage to earn profits in such conditions by daily trading.
The daily trade is not so easy for almost all the people who own coins. You need to be a well off person and have to have a weighted portfolio if you want to day trade. Majority of the people chose to hold their coins and simply stop trading when the market is down.

Moreover, a down market just means that the business activities are down and the portfolio is not gaining weight but the market ultimately reaches the phases of recovery and boom anyhow.

right, so low market could be just an opportunity to purchase extra coins with a good discount

True - use this down period for investing in the tokens that deserve your attention. Do not sell the altcoins which you hold. Buy some promising cryptocurrencies.

because all this while while the market has not stabilized there have been a lot of traders who suffered losses because he panicked that the coins he held would not increase again, even though if he wanted to be patient to wait then surely he would not suffer losses and of course he would benefit

When there's someone losing, there's always someone who's winning Smiley Anyway there are still opportunities to get some profit even in this bear market. Learn more about trading. Work out your own strategy and may be you'll be lucky to get daily profit.

No, not everyone loses money when the market falls. Many successfully earn on this. Especially those who provoke this fall Grin.
But even ordinary traders can earn. The main thing is to build your strategy in such a way as to be ready for any market situation.
Personally, I always have a part of my investment in USDT, so when the price drops, I buy, and when the price rises, I sell accordingly. In calculating the future price, I use technical analysis and my awareness of the latest news. Therefore, I, like many other traders, earn even in a falling market.

If you learn and have enough knowledge before going into trading the chance of loosing is very low. Specially if you hold a coin that has a  future. If you have a good stategy maybe you will earn a good profit. Numbers who become successful are the one who are wait patiently.

So with how much bitcoin and all the altcoins are down, is it even possible for any trader to make any money?  Example let say this.  You buy btc at a very low price due to these dips.  Now you could either keep btc or buy altcoins with it.  Now the market goes down every single day.  First off, does anyone know if btc or any altcoins ever have a day where the prices drop every single hour?  Or is that impossible?

Anyways, with how much all the coins are dropping, is it even possible for any trader to make money on days or weeks like this?  Im thinking its only possible if they make sure they sell it at the right hour and minute etc in order to profit.  But of course if they are down almost all day, how is it even possible for anyone to make any money?  Sure when the market goes back up in a while, and the price gets higher than they bought it at and now they sell, the profit.  However, the same ppl who hold the coins will profit as well.

Because doesn't it seem like there is no skill involved at all it seems?  Because if the market is down for a long time, what percentage of traders are even making any money when the market is down?  Of course if you got a coin at like 10 cents a long time ago and then it went to 5 dollars... and now because of this.. its now down to say 1 dollar, well you are still up money if you sell it now.  But the same ppl who got this coin probably got it at over 3 dollars and lost a huge percentage of its value.

So is it true almost everyone loses money when the market is down?  And almost everyone makes money when the market is up?  Because if btc goes up, the alts follow.  BTC drops, everything follows.  Its like there is zero skill at all almost.   Such that yes when it goes up, some altcoins might go up higher than others.  Also why do certain very good altcoins drop when btc drop if that project is very good etc?  Yes i know you need btc to get that coin and vice versa but its like its either everyone wins or everyone loses.

So right now market is down a lot especially for those who bought not that long ago.  So where is the skill here?  Its basically when to sell and when to buy right?  However, when market is down like this, who is damn making any money?  Because isn't almost everyone losing money?  The only ppl that i could see that likes this huge dip are those that have usd/usdt ready and picking when to buy.  Of course they could have waited till btc was 8k and thought great i buy now or buy alts and each of these already lost a lot already.

Who is making any money now when the market is down?  The ppl who are selling?  Surely not since the price they sell now is much less than before.  Also just curious but does this apply to stocks and forex trading as well?  I know that well stock market goes up, doesn't almost all the stocks all go up it seems?  The same can be said of forex or am i wrong here?  I only know forex is money trading with different currencies etc.  Because when you look at other things like poker or sportsbetting... someone is winning and someone is losing.  Also to anyone that bets sports or knows about sports, you might hear how all the wise guys are losing money.  Wise guys are sophisticated sharp bettors that are much smarter than your average joe.   That average joe most likely bets very square picks... meaning like obvious public teams etc.  However, the thing is the public does win.  And when they do that, sportsbook would lose money.  But usually they get it back and the average joe loses it back betting very public plays and the sophisticated bettors aka sharps win again.  However, i heard of sharps having really bad seasons etc.

So based on that, doesn't it seem like crypto trading is basically everyone wins or everyone loses?  Because in sportsbetting, yes the house does win and they house could also have a losing streak.  But eventually they win back the average joes money.  But if the average joe gets lucky and goes on a huge run whether betting favorites or underdogs or whatnot, its possible for him to win for a long time or lose for a long time.  Also let say you have a few players who are sharp sportsbettors and a few average joes.  Well if the sharp guys are winning, most likely the average joes are losing.  If the sharp guys are losing, average joes are most likely winning.  I say this because they usually play opposite plays most of the time.  But no matter what, someone has to win.  Whether its the sportsbook or the bettor.  Also in sportsbetting, there is something called live betting where its like trading.  Basically you can bet on either side while the game is going on when odds change always etc.  But when you live bet, if one player bets this team while another player bets another team... remember each of these players are betting against the sportsbook, one player will win... the other loses.  Thus that is where the skill comes in.  So does anyone here feel like the market dictating winning or losing is just stupid?  I mean if market is down, who is making any money?  Its like ppl say when there is a bull market, everyone thinks they are a genius.  Well if its a bull market, the only thing you have to think about is okay i will buy btc but should i exchange it for altcoin or not and which one.

Anyone here have thoughts or opinions on this?  I got excited about cryptocurrency and trading and wanted to do it.  But now when i look at it, its basically look at the market.  There doesn't seem to be any skill in it.  Can anyone here correct me with any of my statements especially if i made any especially in sportsbetting?  Thanks.

yeah diffinetly thats true thats everythings turns to looses money when market is down or everythings are still struggle on gaining a good profit, because its a boomerang to the people or investor into this world of crypto now, otherwise doing investment trading there are times you can gain better, but most probably now 95% are loosing.

the most important thing is how to keep earning profits in a year, it's not easy to keep assets that continue to decline, the best logic is to continue trading from several altcoins that can still make small profits.

I also experienced panic, but I did not stay silent because I did not want to worsen the financial condition. Maybe there are many people like me, especially experienced traders.

As we explore the world of currencies, we encountered diiferent experience individually, particularly on trading. But we have diiferent perspection dealing this kind of situation, sort of presense of knowledge percieving the supposed consequences on making mistakes. We should have enough wisdom to create our own deliberations to evade the fact of losing money on market downtrend.

I do not know if everyone has lost some of their capital, at this bear market situation. But some of my friends and I have had quite a lot of losses. But hopefully we can recover this loss in future.

If someone loses, then someone earns and Vice versa, remember this. This is how this market works. If you lose it means you have not calculated everything correctly

It really  depends in your strategy. If you buy and hold I think it's  not a good idea during bearish market.  Base in my own experiences bearish market is good in scalping  trading but you have to choose the right  altcoins.

i think in this market, if prices go down, it means that the kit assets will also decrease if converted to fiat currency. as long as we don't convert to fiat currency, we don't lose our coins, because the amount remains the same

I think this is right, because when the market is down almost all the crypto prices decrease and as a result, the crypto traders, holders lose money. The number of coins/tokens which have a stable or increasing price during the red market is really limited.

I think most traders and holders lose money during this red market. The actual prices are too low and the whole market isn't really motivating many people to start buying cryptocurrencies or holding them. We need waiting at least a few months until the prices start to increase again.

when the price conditions at the exchange place fall I don't think that will make their money disappear as long as they don't sell it at a cheap price, but if he sells at a cheap price then certainly the assets they have are reduced and certainly will only get losses.
Good logic, you will not lose anything as long as you still hold your assets and do not sell them when prices go down.
after all, not always weakening prices is a loss, people profit because they buy at a cheap price right? so use any price conditions..

When the market enters a period of decline, not everyone loses money, only amateur investors lose money. Personally, I get more revenue during the period when the market is in a downward trend, because amateur investors make a lot of mistakes in this period and sells at low price. For that reason, we will lose money when there is a downward trend, aside from the fact that we will earn more money.

Yeah ofcourse as long as this will continue all of us experienced losses in our coins except those who lucky enough to cashout their assets and turn in dollars accenditally. lol hope there will be.
This is not about the loss that you face when the market drops. This is about the loss that you are agreed to make despite knowing that the market is down and you go for sale. So the answer to that is that not all the people lose money when the market is down. There is a concept of holding the assets when the market is red. This helps save the money that could go in waste upon making an attempt to trade or anything like that.
