And to be fair, now Slot also made a mistake. He totally changed the squad, again he asked the shortest and smallest guy to play as CB, against a team with so many strong tall players, I know its a cup game against bottom Championship game but sometimes you have to learn respect in England all teams are strong in the physical department. What do you think @buway and @LFC_Bitcoin, Slot's first major mistake?

He did not make any mistakes, it was a cup game against a lower 2 tier team, and the starting lineup of Diaz, Jota, Elliot, and Chisa was more than capable of choking up and beating Plymouth as the rest of the squad prepared for Everton. Liverpool played well, but it wasn't their day; every season, there's always that lower team performing wonders against top sides.

Agree with Igebotz here. You cant blame the coach when he put a lot of top players and that players cant beat a team from a lower division and for worst in risk of relegation in that division.

I feel like Liverpool is still (like in the Klopp era) so much dependent on his key players, and that key players are the medular ones, Salah, Mcallister(not so much in the Klopp era but replace for Henderson or Tiago etc) and Van Dijk.

Without them they are a normal team it seems.

Notes apart, Chiesa.... long time without seeing so low level in a top player, it was awful. And Nuñez is cursed.

I'm not surprised we lost that game; I can't remember how many times we've led first and then lost at the end; Poch was a terrible manager, but we barely lost from a winning position. Fraud Enzo Mascara sold me a false dream, and I can't believe my eyes.

To be fair to him he never sold a dream, he always said his team is not ready yet to challenge for the title, his team is still in the top 4 and doing well in the conference league. It will be great to remain in the cups and keep up the performances of some months back, but it is a competitive league. I really think he can come good for Chelsea and at some point the management has to back a coach for a couple of years to see how good he comes.

I think Chelsea is out from all competitions and they can focus only on Premier League now.
They have so many players and I have a feeling they are going to sell a lot of players if they dont finish in top 4 at the end of the season.

OK true. Chiesa was bought because he was great in the World Cup, Diaz and Jota are starters for their countries, Nunez as well in Copa is amazing, so they should have won the game.

BUT one also has to understand that you need a team that understands each other at least midfield and defence, otherwise the attackers can't get the ball to shoot. If you asked these guys to play futsal, any time, but football needs the midfield and defence for linkup.

But you are both right anyway, and maybe I was harsh on Slot, also valid point that Liverpool look so normal without key players. Which is why I respect Liverpool for past many years. Normal guys, who became powerful together, this is what you call a Winning Eleven. Other clubs buy powerful individuals, Liverpool build teams.

About Liverpool? 9 points mean they can afford to lose 3 games out of 15. I wouldn't say its a given tbh but judging from the rest also not able to win games, I think if the gap is 9 points with 10 games left, then I would also say Liverpool is a given.

For almost all managers I think their backup plan is the quality of their individual players. The team works around the clock to play a certain way and if that does not work out, the players can improvise on the fly and come up with some piece of quality.

Enzo reminds me of Poch, and I hate the fact that modern managers are constantly having problems with their players and keeping them on the bench regardless of whether they win or lose. Mourinho and Conte used to fight players in training and still start them in games.

Some managers are looking to control too many aspects of the game without knowing how to manage the players at their disposal.

I can understand this perfectly tbh. If my team was playing in Conference League, I would be pissed, probably not even gonna try stay up to watch any games. The minimum expectation would be to win it, and losing it would be the farce to swallow for many years.

That's the big problem though in EPL the league is way too competitive, I fear if we played there in our low days when we just lost Messi, we would be not even in Conference League. Next season it will be Manchester United wondering what to do, but at least we all can agree they are so shit even playing in Conference League is a waste.

I just find it strange that Enzo was unable to create a space for Nkunku and Felix even when the entire front line was struggling to create something. How can a manager let his first choice striker go 9 games without a goal and then refuse to try the backup on the bench? If I were Nkunku, I would be furious. That is the plan B I am talking about to.

I am surprised Nkuku is still at Chelsea. I can imagine the club will ask something close to what they paid for him and many clubs will be unwilling to do that considering his current form, but if he tries to force his way out, there could be a route that works for everyone.I have enjoyed watching the Everton fans get pumped up for tonight's match, it is almost impossible to think Liverpool will not find a way through, but you never know with this game of football. I will probably watch that game over the UCL fixtures.

Everton in the hands of David Moyes was better so this match is a bit difficult for Liverpool although in the end I myself will see a way out for Liverpool.
For Liverpool it is important to get 3 points to keep away from Arsenal.
I myself will only see from the score news about this match, then the UCL will never be missed.

Yes, he was open to a move last month, but no one, not even Saudi, was willing to talk to us about a €60m asking price; the only way the club can benefit is for Enzo Mascara to give him enough playing time so he can improve. Nobody in their right mind is going to pay that much for a bench warmer.

There's no good UCL fixtures better than Everton - Liverpool tonight.

I wish Sean Dyche was still in charge if the side. I needed the fewest number of goals in this half for a bet I played and Dyche adopts just the strategy to get that. Moyes has a more attacking style, but I must admit the team is playing better.

Injuries and poor form has hampered his progress so much. I do not think there is a way Chelsea benefits, cause I frankly do not think he is at the level the club needs him to be.

Had correct result 1-2 and Everton scored in last seconds and they watched VAR for offside for 5 minutes and confirmed the goal in the end. Just my luck… onto the next round

I feel bad for him; it's the first time he's been fit all season, but no one wants to play him; Jackson is out until April, and he won't make the squad this weekend; the main issue with Nkunku is that he doesn't push or help the team defensively. I'm still wondering what Enzo Mascara would do without Jackson this month.

First United, now Everton. These are not the teams that should be taking points off of us. Really disappointed with how the game ended today - we should have stopped the ball reaching our 16-yard box way earlier.

There's still a huge gap between us and City and Arsenal's got a huge injury crisis so the title is still ours to lose. We have Wolves next, and 3 difficult games after that (Villa, City, Newcastle).
I hope the gap is still significant with 10 games to go.

I switched off the Merseyside derby just before added time and missed most of the action. Firstly, I think it was a deserved 1 point for Everton, they were able to limit Liverpool to a handful of chances, especially in the second half, and created one or two for themselves. With the drama that followed the final whistle, it was a fitting way to close the curtain on derbies at Goodison park.

There's still a huge gap between us and City and Arsenal's got a huge injury crisis so the title is still ours to lose. We have Wolves next, and 3 difficult games after that (Villa, City, Newcastle).
I hope the gap is still significant with 10 games to go.

We need to be more than perfect to even stand a chance, something similar to our form in the second half of last season and also we have to beat Liverpool at Anfield. All these we will struggle to do with a full squad,, much less the one we have available.
