It changes the fact. You need to watch games to comment on them, do not just regurgitate banter and watch football through heatmaps. Look at Cole Palmer's heat map, what does that suggest?

Rice is a natural CDM, pushing him to CMF to accommodate Partey does not change anything - go and look at his heat map this season.

Rice can play as a CMF as well as he can do as a CDM. We have been using him in that position since the middle of last season and he does it brilliantly, getting a few goals too. He has been out of form this season, that does not dispute his quality or versatility.

Arsenal needs to act now fast in the transfer window and get a replacement for Saka. He gets injured too many times and he needs to heal fully. So a good player is needed that can make a difference like Saka did. We can see the effect when Saka isnt playing. Arsenal drops points and if they continue like this they wont be able to try and get the title or even try and compete for it.

No vision, no good recruitment team and Arteta talent ID is literally low for a manager in a top team ( looking at his recent recruitments)

Arguing football with supporters of a club that hasn't won a major trophy in a long time is stressful. Why are Arsenal and Tottenham fans usually this way? I've talked football with a number of them on podcasts, and they're always the same.

Klopp was the most dishonest manager of his era; he complained about other clubs' expenses while spending more and signing every top player on the market.

If I were an Arsenal fan, I would never talk to clubs that have won the Champions League

I live in a City of more than 2m population and I've only come across Liverpool fans only few times in ages. They are the least supported Top 4 clubs in Nigeria and Africa- win or lose we don't get to hear noise.

Not only that, he joined Red Bull. All the Dortmund fans were showing him the finger for this. I don't know why no Liverpool fan was upset, but I guess its because in Germany you have Red Bull teams unfairly competing in the league.

He was a liar, but who cares? He brought them success and left on a positive note. He deserves all of Liverpool's love and all of Dortmund's hatred for breaking their trust.

Regarding Klopp he is a true legend for what he achieved at the club. We were a total mess when he took over, he made us the best team in Europe for a short while. If he had Pep’s chequebook he’d have an even bigger legacy but that’s what made him so great, he didn’t need unlimited funds.

Liverpool under FSG do not spend like City, Man Utd, Chelsea, even Arsenal. It annoys me at times, our owners are cheapskates. We could be so much more successful with more generous owners. I mean we haven’t signed a proper starting XI player since summer 2023.

The one thing that annoyed me with Klopp is he left with one year left on his contract. He wasn’t sacked, he walked away, I thought that was a bit cruel. Luckily we landed with Slot who looks good but Klopp didn’t care, he just left. He said he was tired and needed time off, yet he is already back in work. It leaves a slightly sour taste.

I think we need to be more fair to Klopp, I feel like the club let him down. Yeah, maybe he was tough to work with, but there was too much pressure on him.

He knew the situation that was about to happen with contracts, he didn't have Edwards or Ward, just Schmadtke instead of Hughes.
Was it Klopp that forced Ward and Edwards to leave - we'll never know. But the amount of work that needed to be done in areas other than management would have all ended up in Klopp's hands.

After he left you saw that the club brought both Edwards and Ward back, and they are dealing with the contractual mess now. I think Klopp was really fair, said 'fuck it fellas, this isn't really my strong area and I don't want to discuss contracts with players' and gave us plenty of time to put the pieces back together - which we did.

The way he left, his last comment about wanting to rest and the way he quickly took the Redbull job, I'm thinking the Redbull offer was already on his table a long time ago. Yes netSpend is credit to the recruiting team and not to the manager. The club did fantastic business with their outgoing but it wasn't because of Klopp.   I was only pointing at the total amount both managers spent and not the business club did to cover up those expenses.

Both VVD and Allison fees at that time were record breaking deals in the league. I won't be surprised If Liverpool go into the market again and get another €100m player, I don't buy the idea of them trying to act poor.

Sean Dyche did a GREAT job at Everton, I don't know what the owners are thinking of. Mourinho needs new players and so did Dyche. But if there's one guy who can come in and make the team +100% for one season, it's Mourinho.

I think it is because Liverpool always had something to cheer or hold on to. In the early 2000s they reached the champions league final twice, won it once, reached the semis multiple times and also the quarter final. In the 1980s to 1990s, they also reached the final multiple times.

Manchester United can barely qualify for the champions league and despite some cups they have not really looked to be in the right direction at anytime in the last 10 years. For me, their most promising time was under Ole. To make it worse they look over to their noisy neighbors and they are being super successful, you can brag about past achievement for only so long.You need to fix your quote.

True. They wanted a proven and stable manager with EPL experience, and at the time, Moyes was the best "low budget team" manager doing well in the league, and everyone assumed that if he was given a large budget, he would dominate the league, but this was never the case.

Fergi's shoe was too big for anyone to fill at the time; he set a high standard, just as Pep is lifting City's.

Aston Villa and Tottenham are not that it this season.

Ya I think if you look back on those teams that made the final (and against the world's best team at the time AC Milan!!) nobody would even say they were top 10 teams in the world. IIRC they were midtable positions in EPL, and yet performed like hell in CL. So maybe they always had some magic in the cups, but United also win cups every now and then, tho I guess nothing compares to CL.

Among surprises, one truly unexpected casualty from the Prem already and just in the 3rd round (Brentford). I thought they'd have a tough game but not to lose to mighty Plymouth (those of us in the Championship surely would have discounted them, they're the second division whipping boys, scoring less than 1 goal a game, and yet they took out one of the better teams!

City looking scary or this is just an expected result? With their captain walking away (pardon the shitty pun) they might actually start to win proper games now. I still find it impossible to believe there's no academy player at least 50% of Walker's ability but with 150% of his speed.
