I keep seeing Arsenal fans on social media saying he’s going to be their main man upfront and win them the league

We were far from convincing against Wolves and we will drop points this season, possibly even in three or four games but you know what, so will Arsenal.

I didn't know Kai Havertz injury was a season out situation, I don't like him but I hate to see players goes through these type of pain - wish both players quick recovery.

He just had surgery and it seems to have gone successfully. Hopefully he returns sharp next season.

The conversations of him playing as the forward were being had even before he came on last match to score 2. But besides the whole fan talk, we have been playing with Havertz who is not an out-and-out-striker and we have had the best success with him making deep runs from the midfield, it makes Merino a good candidate to fill that role as he also likes to get forward from deep.

We also do not have any much options at this time, Trossard has to start on the wing since Sterling is not at the level we need him to be at, this leaves a huge cap up front.

It is a fan trait to back your player no matter what, look at Liverpool with Nunez

Manchester city are not threat, the only tough game is against Aston Villa.

I don't see either as a threat to Liverpool. Aston villa aren't at their best performance wise and they got no leverage to stop Liverpool. Man city performance against Liverpool will depend on what happens against Real Madrid in the champions league. If somehow man city wins Real Madrid, I don't think Liverpool will be prepared for the force the players they'll be facing will be bringing but then losing to Real Madrid will just put the season to a rest as there's nothing worth fighting for again for  Man city. The teams mentality and everything will be defeated which will make it easier for Liverpool to have an easy game.

Poor Liverpool and poor Slot. Expectation was for UCL qualification. Then you threaten to over-deliver and suddenly a cup exit, Merseyside draw and a tough/lucky win at Wolves makes everyone angry and worried.

One game at a time, remember? And I can't stand the media, they keep talking about quadruples every season and that seems to push the first domino down.

I always ask myself the question when it comes to Barca, which I would prefer but luckily I don't remember there are many times I have to choose since anyway I'm in bed or at work when the games play.

Absolutely I will watch Liverpool tonight, no way I watch anything else.

I will check the CL scores on my phone maybe at half time & full time. I have no interest in any of that as we are already qualified for the last 16 & our opponents are known. We will play Benfica or PSG (providing they don’t suffer a massive shock vs Brest, which is extremely unlikely).

Maybe because Aston Villa lost only one match at Villa Park home stadium this season.

They are. They topped the group in the new league phase format and are through automatically to the RO16. The teams playing now are trying to get into that round.

Still would have lost anyways but congrats on your first yellow cap victory. I forget to put my scoreline but it wouldn't had mattered anyway because I would had gone for Liverpool victory and still would had lost. Got caught up in the championship league game yesterday and forgot there was a premier league game too. Didn't watch the game but seeing Liverpool down with just one goal won't had moved me because they'll always equalized. Liverpool has been one of the best teams in Europe this season to watch their game, you can't end watching their game with disappointed.

Just looked at the premier league upcoming fixtures and laughed, we'(Chelsea) are playing Aston villa next.

I am trying to make it a habit of not changing my picks after entering them. Even if it works out sometimes, the times it does not hurts a lot and I start to do the math to know where I would have been if I had not changed.

The top 8 will be happy Atalanta and Milan are out. Especially Liverpool probably has bad memories of Atalanta right?

I will also be wary of the team that could eliminate those teams in the manner they did. Arsenal will be playing either Feyenoord or PSV. teams that were able to eliminate Italian giants, no easy games from this point on.

Worse for me, I couldn't watch either of it. This whole week am not even so free to watch text updates. Probably for the better, would have had a lousy night watching them stumble at Villa. Always worried, but there's also City coming up, I actually feel we'll do better in that game.

Nah, I still prefer ol Big Ears. Need to catch up with Real's tally... Salah and VVD I think have gone on record saying they want the Prem title more though. That's also important to equal Manure's tally.

Well. I expected so much more from Arsenal, even if I wanted them to drop points. I picked them to draw in the pool, but didn't expect them to actually lose their heads all over again like the pre-Arteta days.

The fact the same thing happened to Bournemouth (though I was watching and didn't think the sending off was correct...) so they also cost me in my picks (and in the SB football Jackpot), makes a bittersweet day for me.

For sure this will be the lowest points round for this pool. Imagine seven games have already been finished , yet the current Yellow Cup holder has only 5.5 points. So many upsets happened this matchday. Maybe if Bournemouth and Arsenal hadn’t gotten red cards, the results would have been different. Most of us chose Arsenal and Bournemouth to win today.
