I understand your frustration man, it happened to me as well many times, there must be some kind of logic for sure, I think it might have to do with total closeness on the season total, the lower number of closeness I guess the better, at least that's what it says on the superbru site, maybe it would be wise to shoot them an email and ask what kind of logic they use for determining the yellow cap in such cases.
Anyway not much left in the season, we still battling for that number 1 spot, I am really enjoying the competition between us, looking forward to the next round.

It happened to me once too. I really thought I had won the Yellow Cap that time, but in the last minute or after I refreshed the app I saw someone had overtaken my username.

After Matchday 33, it looks like I have no chance of winning any of the Top 10 prizes. I’m currently sitting at 34th on the leaderboard with only 262 points. I’m just hoping to win at least one Yellow Cap in the remaining matchdays. Anyway good luck everyone only few matchday left.

Interesting for someone who scored twice against them in the first leg--he's going rough patch right now, but I believe this is worth a shot.  On paper, this appears to be an easy fixture, but Ipswich's relegation and Newcastle's CL spot for next year are both at stake.

I might give it a shot. Murphy and Barnes are another interesting players to look out for to get a HT goal.

Sure, he rattled us Reds over the years too, but my favourite memory will always be his Eagle celebration in front of Palace fans. Howling at Wolves fans also fun after pent-up Covid haha. But does anybody remember his first Prem appearance when he shathoused all over Manure?

An almost unknown guy comes to the PL aged 26 and eventually makes it into the England lineup and plays in Euro and World Cup.

I mean, I assume any 26-year old guy can appear out of nowhere and play a few games in the PL - but Vardy has 300+ PL games and 150+ goals.

We are gonna miss him, sadly this Leicester was a complete failure and they dont do anything good this season they never find a path.

With his departure we lose one of the last non soft players, and we lost one non "crystal generation".

It would have arrived earlier, but Ipswich's early red made the first half difficult as they stopped attacking and started playing low block.

What a season for Newcastle from losing more than 7 consecutive games this season to 3rd position. Same with Citeh!

Who's turning up at Anfield for the parade?

Sunday afternoon Arne Slot will win the PL title in his first season at Liverpool, spending next to nothing on players. This is basically Klopp’s team but with a few tactical tweaks.

I never believed deep down in my life time I would see a title, never mind two titles! It's sometimes a question I ponder at night in bed, looking up in the blankness, if I will ever feel the same about this club again. Mind you, I'm happy we're winning things again, and a Champions League title (or two) thrown in have made me over the moon. But it's a bit different now, from ten years ago, winning something was always against the odds. And now we'll be expected to win.

Betting-wise it's already a changed landscape for me. The 5/1 and 10/1 games I used to enjoy in Klopp's ascendancy are gone. I think at worst, we were 3/1 against any team this season. The 8/1 outsider title winner odds I got pre-season will probably be the last proper bet I take on Liverpool for a while.

I was watching a video the other day on the Brendan Rodgers era and how close Liverpool came to winning it with that team he had, but also how much of a surprise it was how competitive Liverpool were. Klopp took over and really galvanized the team, making i his own really. It has been excellent recruitment in managers over the last 15 years, while many teams have had 6 - 10, Liverpool have had just 3 managers in 13 years. That is how you build a successful project.

Congratulations on title number 20. Now there is an outlet for the celebrations of 2020, which had to be muted due to the lock-down.

Yes, it was a shaky one with top teams losing points against weak teams and some of them with very deep crisis like Macnhester United Spurs and even Manchester City, but in the end we dont see a proper fight and we have all setled much early than ever.

Plus i feel like it was a PL with very short results in most of the games.

The relegation fight is becoming a problem for the PL, having a lot of teams out of the competition from the mid season.

What is the level of competitiveness in that league?  Why do all clubs that are promoted to the Premier League get relegated to the Championship the next season?  We used to have an underdog from the championship terrorizing the big clubs and finishing high, but that no longer happens.

Makes me wonder how Leicester City and Southampton made it to the premier League. They were extremely poor..

No problem I wouldn't mind, I want those kids and our dumb owners to to understand what it feels like to be a champion without spending billions buying kids from incubators. Caciedo. Lol

It's going to work out, Caicedo has the DNA of Makélélé and Kanta, he's going to get his glorious days at Chelsea too. While I congratulate Liverpool I just want to say they're getting easy league titles and not like they're fighting with any other teams to win it. Arsenal was never a challenge from day one because they're never a challenge but just second best to everything. Chelsea is passing through a phase and we giving Liverpool the guard of honour isn't going to be any big deal. The owners don't understand football heritage as all they're after is making profits. I'm just glad Liverpool has won the title before playing us because atleast now they won't go all out.

Plus they come froma relegation/promotion, so they still have some base team.

Well we only can hope to see Leeds Burnley and the third team to get promoted to do things beter than this.

Kante also rejected Leicester City CL football for 15th Chelsea- everyone was "why did he abandon a good project and a CL football to mid table Chelsea" well, 3 years later he won the league and everything in Europe with Chelsea while Leicester were struggling with relegation. Chelsea always win, Caciedo time will come.

The problem is, the moment you get relegated, you become marketplace for other top clubs - they take all your best players and you're left with nothing. Leicester just got relegated again and half of their decent players would be gone in the summer..
