Since the reject fix, my reject percentage has doubled. from ~3-4% to ~7-9%.

Oh and BTW. Even with these performance issues which are causing high rejected ratio I think that our profitability is significantly higher than at other pools. Thanks for sticking with me and I hope I'll be able to provide a smooth ride for all of us very soon.

Personally, I don't think launching other regions will help alleviate enough on the current server. Having said that, it's Terk's call what to do. Sure, I'm seeing rejects bouncing like a super ball, but at the same time, I'm also seeing some mighty fine profits! I've mined here for 12 days now and can most definitely say it's more profitable here for me. It was a bit rough at the beginning. Rest assured, this guy has been nonstop working on fixing things. If you have a question, search the thread first. More often than not, the question has been answered in the thread somewhere. I also do think the primary post should be updated with the most frequent questions and answers for the new people and also the lazy ones.

I leave the pool.
I'm from EU and probably thats because of the server in US (connection latency), that i reach 40% rejects on the last hour with 280x (really low reject gpu).
So i switch from this until the situation about the servers are solved.
Thanks

so i get the feeling people round here might want an EU server? lol
Terk, other than your precious time and resources, what other obstacle are in the way? you'd see a huge increase from this side of the pond where it to happen soon.
I need to make some changes in the core app to make it work with multiple regions/servers in a synchronized way (with shared profits and unified stats, not like separate pools). This requires more or less a day of my work. I don't have this time because the pool is having performance problems which I'm working on almost 24/7. I already deployed a more powerful server which helped a bit but didn't solve the issue completely because it's a software issue. There's a performance problem in an underlying 3rd party software that I use and I need to either rewrite significant part of this software or change it to something else. I'm working on these software issues at the moment. I'm developing some changes that are quickest to do and have potential to release the load - to try to make everything run smooth with the amount of hashpower that came to the pool. I hope to deploy some of these changes tonight. Then I'm going to decide wether to significantly rewrite this 3rd party software or to use a different one (which in that case would also need to be significantly changed to suit our coin-switching needs). I will most likely choose a different one because the one that I'm using now is just crappy and all different technical problems that the pool has been experiencing since its launch were caused by it. This will probably take me 2-3 days. After I deploy these quick fixes I wrote about two paragraphs above, I will decide what to do first: A) to do what's in the previous paragraph, rewrite the underlying software and solve the performance issues once for good (and then launch new regions); or B) launch the multi-region architecture first hoping that the load will be split between servers and it will buy me some time to do the A). I plan to launch three new servers: Europe, Asia and US East and also move US West server from Oregon to California, so there will be four servers in total. That said, fixing performance is my main objective now and I'm working on it almost 24/7. I'm glad to hear you'll be adding a US East server as well. It sounds like you guys know what you're doing well, what you need to improve, and how to make the improvements. Bravo!

Thanks for the Update Terk, i'm sure there are plenty of people here that would be willing to help out if you were to out-source some of the work.
For now the difference between CM and other pools with lower rejects is offset by the increased profitability so i'm gonna leave my measly <1Mh pointed your way.
Thanks for all the hard work and most importantly your transparency with the work you're doing.

How good is this pool at adding day 1 coins.
I can't find any pool that does it well enough. I would be interested in a pool that took some risk on day 1 coins.

I was deploying a new version of the pool software but something went wrong. The pool was down for ~20 seconds and then I restored the previous version. I know what was wrong and fixed it so I expect the next attempt (in a minute) to be successful - there should be a disconnect and an instant reconnect of your miners and that's all.

Am glad I made to the move to CM I was at MC for quite some time and was sick of H20 not being clear or straight. I have all 30 mh/s pointed to your servers. Keep up the great work!

Is the rejected amount above the 24average amount on our 'user' page also a 24hr average, or is that updated hourly?

Tested some of my hashing power here for a while since Terk said the reject rates had improved... at max, CleverMining reported slightly under my actual hashrate, and rejects averaged over 20% still (and I am very close to the server...)!
Looking less profitable then wafflepool, and the BTC/day/MH rate published appears to be an utter joke since the site is definitely under reporting my hashrate (tested continuously for about half a day), and then I am losing an extra 20% to rejects. Looks like nearly a 35% inflation of BTC/day/MH compared to wafflepool which has been a consistent a slight under estimate.
All my hashing power is back on wafflepool for now. Will try again if reject rates actually improve.

I know this has been mentioned but I haven't seen anyone talking about rejection rates as high as I am getting. Been hovering 10-16% all day. Dropped intensity down and still hovering at 16%. As Terk knows, I love the way he runs the pool so I'm sticking around. Still a profitable pool. Any suggestions on how to drop rejection rate on my side would be welcome. Thanks

It is overestimated because the btc/dat/mh only takes in account the accepted rate, this shouldn't be a problem if the reject rate was at a reasonable amount.THe metric can be a little misleading but it isnt wrong. Anyway Terk said he was looking upon reducing the rejects

You are counting the same thing twice. Your reported hashrate is lower than your actual because of these 20% rejected. They're already calculated. Reporeted hashrate = accepted hashrate (after substracting rejected).
