I mined here at CleverMining and had a 10-20% reject spread. Sometimes it would spike at 25%. Switched pools and have literally less than 1% rejects. I would mine here if the reject rates weren't so awful but as of now I don't enjoy losing 700kh/s of speed on average over a couple days.

I hope you are basing these numbers off of your actual long term reject % and not the 10 min interval chart on the site. Was your long term % really 20% as reported in Cgwatcher??

That chart on the site is very misleading. It will spike all over the place and freak people out, as it did myself. Then I go look in cgwatcher after 10 hrs and my reject rate is 4%. Which is fine by me.

I just jumped up to 60% rejected user shares...CGminer showing them as rejected (low difficulty share) but even so that's a bit concerning how high it just jumped when it was steady at 5% or less for the past few hours. This is happening on all 3 of my rigs too?

It's now leveled off and dropped down to 40% or so...

I'm getting the same thing - low diffculty share reject. Reject rate is about 10%

Terk, I have a problem, my reject rate had stabilized at 2-3% below the pool`s reject, them out o the blue they become consistenly higher than the pool's.

 http://www.clevermining.com/users/1GWKr5FFQapZwVHadq86yX1bE6tPhLDN26

this is the second time it happens today
last time i had to stop all miners, switch to another pool for 10 min and after I got back everything was back to normal

My miners began to receive this reject message: Low difficulty share
 this is really strange
my internet has been fine, no disconnects whatsoever

prior to the changes my reject rate used to have a pattern but they never became so higher than the pool's for such a long time

Thanks for your effort

500,000 shares to wafflepool, without a single reject. 0%. Same rig was getting 24% rejects from CM.

Terk, there is definitely something busted on clevermining's side. I really prefer CM's design, so please get this fixed! :-)

Comeon it's been said a thousand times. It's normal for this pool. He's running different software.

I am running a 4x280x machine and a 1x7950 machine.  Should I be using a different wallet address for each machine? and why?

thx

Its not normal though, it's the only pool that does it. When you are losing 5-10 mh in rejects, it doesn't matter if you get slightly more btc/mh on much less mh.

I have more of a question than a statement. I am mining this pool for a week now (pauses while remaking my mining rig and such).

I don't mind having even 20% reject rate, if the profitability holds. But what I am seeing is quite...weird. Probably something with my configuration, but I was unable to say what exactly).

I am having acc/rejected shares ration 1:10-15. Which is...weird.
I wonder if you could just glimpse at my configuration if you see something really wrong.

Here are the screenshots (numbers are a small sample, I know. But believe me if I say the ratio doesnt change even while 10 hours running straight).

And a sample configuration file (specifically for the 7850)

Code:

"url" : "stratum+tcp://us.clevermining.com:3333",

I am from central EU if it helps Smiley

its not at all normal, he has pool issues, am bouncing between 10 mhs and 30 mhs which am suppose to bet at with almost 25% rejects vs waffle I would get 1-2% rejects

No, you can use the same one.

Thanks.  Would there be a benefit from separating my slow card from my fast ones?

The main site keeps dropping out for me now and then too saying server not found.
I wonder if there is some weird dns issue causing problems...?

Hey Terk,

A quick question regarding the "BTC/day per Mh/s" value.
Is it based on accepted hash rate only, or does it include the rejected hash rate as well?

One thing to keep in mind in all this reject talk is that Clever mines some very aggressively fast coins and rejects for these would be normal for around 5% or so depending on the coin.

Waffle is always so low in rejects because it's very very conservative with its coin choices that are not as fast (or as low difficulty).

The equivalent discussion in car terms:
"I'm leaving this Bugatti Veyron because it's SOOO much louder than the Prius in the slow lane.  It's better than this 50% louder Bugatti and I'll get to my house just as fast in my Prius".

Now with that said, you guys definitely should not be getting 20% or higher over time and that could be amplified by regional network issues, distance, and local configuration issues. It'll be more evident for fast coin pools than let's say on pools like Waffle. The new servers could help with this.

Not saying you should totally ignore reject rates, but you guys should really compare the final payout numbers because even with high rejects, you could be earning more on the fast coin exchanges than on slower lower profit and lower reject coins. So then the question becomes, is the trade off worth it.  For me, I don't care if I get 80% rejects if I get 10% more than on a pool with 0.5% reject rates.

Im having this exact same thing, also moving my hash somewhere else until this is fixed. Its just gets everything rejected, by either that or stratum etc etc...
Makes no sense, since yesterday everything was fine up until this morning... Im kinda tired of all this rejected...
The funny thing is that my reject rate was around 60%, speccially in one 2Mhs rig, where it just seems that everything went rejected.
