Ethereum is better than Bitcoin?

Bitcoin can be referred to as the godfather of Cryptocurrency. But I still like Ethereum because it gives avenue for so many altcoins in the Cryptocurrency industry to rise which has practically helped so many people. But in terms of worth, Bitcoin is better.

ETH has really been better than BTC for a long time but BTC has a strange charm. BTC is now considered the most classic blockchain technology and does not have any upgrades. but it still stands at the top of CMC because it is a king of the Crypto market and it can not lose to its sons.

I think this is not good to compare BTC and ETH cause they are really different. ETH is a platform for ICO and Dapps and BTC is a main and general cryptocurrency. Without BTCc we will not see other coins and paltform, so if ypu're holder BTC is a good choice and if you want to know more about crypto or invest to ICO you should recesrch ETH.

Bitcoin are a great coin but  it has no more use than buy and sell not like ethereum has more useful like ethereum contract that for icos and can create his own alts and most favourite use for new project that wanna use ethereum project. so I would be invest in ethereum for a long term use.

For now, eth is not better than btc in any way at all.Btc has always been so consistent with its price at least even in a bad, market, btc keeps its momentum but eth is always performing poorly and no one really seems to understand the reason behind the dips in the prices of eth. How then can anyone make any assertion that eth is better btc? Eth has disappointed me in so many ways and I do not seem to understand why those things are really happening at all.

It is hard for judging two cryptocurrencies. Who is better or worse between Bitcoin and Ethereum? This is two quite different technologies. Concerning investments I don’t think that you have to choose one of these assets. No one person can be absolutely sure that one of these assets will grow more than the other. Brian Kelly, the founder, and CEO of an investment firm focused on digital currencies BKCM LLC, believes that Ethereum will be a better investment than Bitcoin.
Brian Kelly, from his point of view, points out the following reasons:

👉1. Ethereum Futures Contracts
First, Kelly believes that Ethereal futures contracts or ETH Futures will soon be launched, as the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has officially decided that the Ether is not a security. This action has removed the biggest obstacle for Ethereum – The 2nd ranked coin in market capitalization to institutional investment.
However, what Kelly does not mention is that launching the Future Ethereum could more likely to pull down the price of this second-largest cryptocurrency rather than help it.
Since the launch of the Bitcoin futures contract, Bitcoin’s price has plummeted and many blamed the use of investment tools to manipulate the market for this decline.

👉2. Augur
Secondly, Kelly pointed out that the Augur platform was one of the main reasons for Ethereum's rapid growth when compared to Bitcoin.
As described by the analyst, " It’s a decentralized prediction market. What’s interesting about this [is that] this will probably be one of the biggest decentralized apps on top of Ethereum. If [augur] doesn’t slow the system down, that can generally be a positive for Ethereum."

👉3. Proof-of-Stake Protocol
Finally, Ethereum's upgrade from hardware mining to software mining will drive the continued growth of the cryptocurrency.
Ethereum creator - Vitalik Buterin, also recently explained that Ethereum's scalability improvements to the layer solutions will multiply one to another - improving the number of users that the system can handle, which increase the processing capacity of up to 1 million transactions per second.
However, this refers to the fact that Bitcoin and Ethereum are not fully competitive. Upgrading the Ethereum platform is likely to serve more of a rivalry between competitors like EOS, while Bitcoin will remain its top position in transferring and storing value.
