Bitcoin has come a long way and come really come to stay. As a matter of fact, anytime some people who know nothing about bitcoin are introduce to bitcoin about how bitcoin works, they channel all their attention to whoever is passing the information to them by listening attentively. However, after developing the interest in bitcoin, they quickly revert their interest in bitcoin the moment they hear of the volatile nature of bitcoin, thereby, deciding not to invest into it anymore. Guys, what are some other factors that scare people from investing into bitcoin?
if I think it can scare people to invest in bitcoin other than because of its fluctuating nature is the investor's own knowledge factor, they do not really understand what bitcoin is, so they hear it's just been afraid to invest first. |

For me, the factors that scares other people from investing in bitcoin is the price. Many feedback in bitcoin tells that the price is low so the investors are pulling their investment. Another thing is the fake news about bitcoin. It makes many investors pull their investment in bitcoin. |

For me, it's the volatily aspect of its assets. It's just so difficult to rely on something could spiral down at any point even if you prepare or do your homework on it. It really makes you think if such kind of investment is a good one because it can put your money or capital down the drain at any point. Also, with the many negative news swirling around the cryptocurrency market and its assets, it would be normal for some people to fear that it won't make it out of the slump that it usually carries most of the time. It's easy, though, to believe things, especially if you do not know and study how the market really works. |

I think what scares them the most is their lack of knowledge about cryptocurrencies. They are scared to be involved in the crypto world because they are not familiar here. They will not know what to do. So they just keep on thinking that it is a scam or whatsoever because of this factor. |

Most people are afraid of ignorance of the situation. Instead of sorting out, they begin to criticize. Of course, this is much easier. Thus, they justify their ignorance.

I think what scares them the most is their lack of knowledge about cryptocurrencies. They are scared to be involved in the crypto world because they are not familiar here. They will not know what to do. So they just keep on thinking that it is a scam or whatsoever because of this factor. Maybe because of that lack of knowledge, but I think some people really afraid on investing in crypto because they are afraid to loss and they are afraid that their investment will disappear because no one know or no company that is really responsible on it. And we can't blame anyone if we are going to loss our capital because no one to blame on it no person or Individual behind it. |

in general there are several factors that cause people to fear to invest in bitcoin ie
- unclear price fluctuations
- can not be used as a means of payment
- often fraud
- unclear status

As i see it most likely than not, bitcoins extreme volatility will be the main issue here. Realistically speaking, most investors invest mainly to gain profit. This is why, the so called institutional investors shy away from bitcoin. Who would want to invest on something that is highly known for i'ts price to move substantially from the time they bought it, and up to the time they want to sell in exchange for local currency? Just the risk takers.

The main frightening factor of investing in bitcoin is the scattered negative news like FUD and then you believe in the news. When you believe you are panicked and sell the bitcoin you are investing right. Maybe that's what makes me afraid to invest.

some people are scared of investing because they dont know much in bitcoin or it is not introduce to them properly and in a good way.
some believe on superstition or believe that bitcoin will not be legal.. thats what i think.

I think it is mainly the volatility of bitcoin that scares many from investing on it. Just like what's happening right now, bitcoin has a very low value meaning those who has a large holdings way back when the price was high has lost plenty of bitcoin right now. We should just be careful and smart over our investment and by that way, we can already set aside the fear from bitcoin's unstable value. |

There are many reasons or factors that may trigger us to be afraid on bitcoin. These are:
1. Lack of knowledge or being ignorance. They are afraid because they didn't know hiw bitcoin it works.
2. Fake news spreading in social media.
3. Hackers and Scammers that are active here in bitcoin.
4. Price volatily or unpredictable price of bitcoin.
5. The risk of losing money.

to me, there are 2 factors scare others from investing into bitcoin. Firstly, they scare the risk of bitcoin, it can go up and down immediately. Secondly is legal issue, nowadays, Bitcoin is not legalized in all countries.

Maybe they are still not sure about bitcoin, whether it is safe to buy or not. There are still many peoples bitcoin is a ponzi scheme or bubble or something. We can convince them by showing our investment profit because bitcoin and cryptocurrency to them. |

The sudden pump and dump is what i think really scares people from investing into bitcoin because how can this be reasonable? An item just cost like $7000 and within three hours it reduces to $6500. The volatility of cryptocurrencies is enough to prevent people from investing but once you get the concept you will be good like i am right now.

in my opinion, the biggest fear of people who invest in bitcoin is the unstable development of bitcoin. it also includes risk. therefore, you must be patient and smart enough in order not to lose everything.

First, it is because of legal issue, many government don't accept btc as a currency, which lead to wrong informartion for their citizen. For people in those country, they dont have protection in trading bitcoin and have to transaction to the third country which might increase risks.
second, it is because the high volitality, just like someone is behind and manipulate the price, they don't know when the bubble is gonna burst, so there are hestitations in investing into bitcoin
