Hi, everybody. The question is very urgent, but it is difficult to answer clearly. On the one hand, it seems to me that the 2018 FIFA world Cup and cryptocurrency are not connected in any way. On the other hand, everything can be. After all, some cities, like Kaliningrad, took in hotels payment in cryptocurrency. It is possible that now the market is quiet and will go up.

I think you're right. FIFA World Cup and crypto currency is correlated. Lots of money is involved during the World Cup. Bets are everywhere. I really think you're precognition is excellent. There's really an increase of value for Bitcoin, the market is green right now.

Everything is pretty much tied to the price of Bitcoin at the moment, so whatever is happening with Bitcoin dominates the remainder of the markets. Bitcoin is still trading within a range that has an upper limit of $8,500 and a lower limit of $6,000 so when it breaks above that range you can confirm the end of the Bear market. I don't think that will be happening during July however.

The FIFA World Cup just ended, France won! Bitcoin rose to $7,400+ and Ethereum is poised to go past $500 this weekend. Maybe just a coincidence.

I suspect there was a very weak correlation, although BTC gaining momentum is overdue and if there is movement it’s unrelated to the world cup

The FIFA World Cup has ended and there has been increase in the price of both eth and btc, but the varying increases in these coins has not been impressive or let's say not up to expectations, so I think for a possible significance increase in the prices of both eth and btc investors should have eyes on the market trends of the coming months.

Another attempt to link absolutely insignificant event (for the cryptocurrency market) with the bitcoin and altcoin rate. Never before has a cryptocurrency grown in price after a large sports event.

I fully agree. They are like astrology warriors - looks for a black cat in a coal. It is better take a look on technical developments in each project

When Bitcoin fell sharply on June 10, I said Bitcoin will definitely rise at the end of the World Cup, but no one believed my point. On the third day of the end of the World Cup, Bitcoin soared.

For now, BTC has had a good rise. However, ETH has a big decline, because most altcoin is falling.

I doubt small things like this make much difference. It's the guys with millions moving the markets, not random people betting 10 quid on a football match.

Well, that's over the world Cup, and you can see that immediately bitcoin began to grow in price. I can't say it's an accident or a pattern. Is there a connection ?

Now we are seeing the growth of Bitcoin, but I think that this is absolutely not connected with the world Cup, just coincided.

I think you are wrong, because I think there is no relationship between ETH and BTC rise with world cup.

Seems like it happened but I actually don't know when the world cup of soccer have ended, so I cannot say is that caused by it, or it caused by some other reasons.

It has ended on the 15th of july so it is very close. However we can't really say if it was related or not. I mean this is a football world cup that nations play matches against each other to win a cup and represent their country at best. Comparison to a crypto currency where it is peoples currency and financial freedom from the regulations and restrictions and centralization of goverments. They are absolutely so irrelevant that I can't think of any other two things that are so irrelevant.

This is true After the World Cup ended in 2018, Bitcoin and the crypto market soon rose. But in the future, the price will continue to increase if Bitcoin ETF is accepted. Hopefully, there will be more positive news for Bitcoin

In fact, Bitcoin and Ethereum have risen. We all think that the price of cryptocurrency will rise when the World Cup is over. This is a consensus. I think the value comes from consensus. I don't know if the cryptocurrency really attracts the World Cup Fund

It's possible that you were right and the market began to move after the World Cup ended. But I can not understand how these events are connected? Do you think that many investors were at the championship and were busy?
