How do we change the public's view of Crypto world?

ICO fraud really destroys the big name bitcoin and cryptocurrency, it makes everyone see the crypto world from the negative side.

oh yes, some of my friends have now stopped crypto trading because they have been deceived several times by ICO scams, I think it makes them deterred from this investment.
only me and a few other friends still survive, because I have a different view of cryptocurrency.

One way is through media. We can used it as one way by showing people that bitcoin has a lot of good things to offer. News, tabloids, and announcements has been saying that the market price is falling. On the other hand, reporting good things and its benefits could make others change their views about cryptocurrency. If other countries could legalized bitcoin, then I greatly believe that it is because they see the good things about cryptocurrency. Therefore, the public would have a high possibility to see that as well.

Price is $20000: I will invest when there is correction

Price is $15000: Market is unstable.

Price is $10000: I will invest when manipulation stops

Price is $5000: Bitcoin is dead. I will sell everything.

Completely agree with you! When a person buys a btc for 20,000, he thinks that the whole world belongs to him! What will he earn in a second, he does not understand technology, in a coin) one single goal is money) But what happens when everything does not go on? he sells everything in the falling market for 5000, in order to save even a small part of his investments!
Whatever forecasts were made, but btc will rise in price! The world of digital economy is born and money will be digitized as an asset !!!

Sadly but there's no way we can filter the ICOs in this place. We have no idea if the members are planning on ditching the investors once the tokensale is complete. The only thing that we can analyze is what they initially give us which is their ANN, their whitepaper, and their website. In the website, I usually head to their "About" section and look at the team.

It's easy to see if they just posted fake pictures and fake linked-in profiles. You can also check out the twitter accounts of those people. If it's non-existent, or if you simply can't find them on social media, then they are probably fake people. Since these people claim that they know a lot about technology and can help you in achieving success in crypto, they should at least have a twitter account where they interact with people that have the same interest as them. We can also check the address of what they claim where their office is using Google Maps.

Unfortunately but we can only dig through the information that they are giving us. Lucky if you are able to find an ICO where they have a twitter for the team and you can see them conducting surveys, planning/brainstorming, and meeting up with investors. You really do need to invest your time in order to find out if it's a legit ICO or not because otherwise you'll be wasting both money and time.

I do understand that cryptocurrencies are volatile and the issue of anonymity sometimes scares people away but y'all bear with me that if  crypto is explained to you and you really understand it properly you would not make wrong mistakes and get swayed away by panic sales or submit your private key as ethereum wallet address. Is it a public campaign or some other form of tutorial that we should organize to help explain crypto to the world because believe it or not the blockchain technology of cryptocurrencies is being admired by most organizations and some of them have decided to run their operations with the use of blockchain technology. What can we do as a community to help change the public view of Crypto?

Crypto is a very specific branch requiring advanced tech, financial and trading knowledge.
I recently tried to explain to my mom what blockchain is and how it works - and that was a challenge I should say  
What I mean is that it would be hard to organize a public awareness campaign for groups of people with various knowledge background..

This cant prove that people have changed their view on cryptocurrencies. It might be true that search for bitcoin fallen by 80% but why would people have to always search for news about it if there are already lots of platforms and websites that are providing latest news about it. And about that coinbase. I dont know much about it since i dont use it. It doesnt always mean that they got less visitors compared before is people dont want to invest anymore. Try to look at the volume of other exchange if they also got less. You shouldnt be just looking for one source to make a conclusion.

Changing their views and beliefs doesn’t really are responsibility. But sharing few positive things including our own experiences wouldn’t costs us so much. Becoming aware with good things that crypto world offers might change public’s view about crypto world.

I prefer staying away from public debates about crypto and explain the peculiatities of this technology only to my closest friends and relatives.

Share your own experience because they want to hear real story from people used it. If that is their understanding about crypto we cant blame them for that,they just dont know what crypto is. Its not our responsibility to change their point of view from us.

right now there are many people that think bitcoin is a scam and have ponzi scheme, but we can see that bitcoin have the good thing that we can see right now, how to change the public view about that? i think its hard to change it from bad things to good things, but if we can tell them and show them about the benefit of bitcoin i think little by little they will believe in bitcoin
