You can try doing some research about the coin first so you will be able to know if the team are really experienced to their field and if they are professional and so you will be able to tell if the project is worth investing with money. Holding is a good strategy for the people who want to make a lot of money from their investment.

Reality is we are very early in this industry and the pace at which projects are coming up and the technology is changing does anyone believe in HODLING cryptos anything other than Bitcoin and Ethereum? 

Every there's a big decline in cryptocurrency usually it often raises panic and ultimately many experience losses. HODLING, means not selling the coins you buy when there is a considerable price drop. It's also a strategy I'm using right now and also one of the most basic strategies to deal with losses. However there are otherwise ways to cope with the occurrence of a big/significant decline ie make it an opportunity to buy and a chance to earn even greater profits.

I believe in holding of a very trusted coins such as btc or maybe eth.  But holding a huge amount of new coin is a different thing. I usually hold a very popular coins and with a huge volume or no. of investors or demand in it.

The reason why you invest on cryptocurrency is because you want to hold the coin and you believe that it was good for long term investment so there is no doubt that everyone believes on cryptocurrency because there are a lot of investors of bitcoins today in the market.

The reason most of people entered crypto is to make money and that's it. Not to hodl or anything in specific but to make money. Hodling and day trading are just the tools for the job.

  People are buying coin to get money but to make money in crypto has some rules and holding is one of the most important rule in crypto currency, if we buy some coins and hold it for long term with patience it can make is too rich, so those who hold are more rich as compare to those who sold early as day trading, I prefer holding because It saves my future and gives a lot of profit to make my present satisfied.

If we don't believe in hodling then no one here will ever try to hold even a single cent of bitcoin nowadays and since it is proven that it is worth investing and holding that is why a lot of people became familiar and encouraged due to the living testimonials of people.

Yes hold is very important in crypto world because it will gain your profit and you can hold your money for ever time, that's why many people are believe in holding because they saw many people who get big amount from this currency and now their life is more comfortable and that's why they invest more amount in this currency.

I still keep a lot of coins in the past and I still put a lot of trust in the coins I chose because I put so much faith in these coins. Keeping is the simplest way for investors to make a profit in this market, but what you need to do is choose the right coin from the beginning.

I don't believe in HODLING. In my opinion, the trading is much better. Yes, the holding some promising and growing coins is a wise decision, but you must be ready to sell your coins any time, otherwise you won't be able to get a profit when the price drops. Also I don't like the day trading, committing a huge amount of trading actions in a short period and trying to catch an upward price movements in the real time. I prefer an average trading based on the reliable news and other knowledge of the current situation on the crypto exchange markets.

Yes,many persons become rich because of holding and some people buying coins or token in a small amount so that peolple hold and sell if the price will going up.holding is good if you have a patient to wait to grow the price so that im believe on holding.

I do believe in HODLing.  I also believe in trading, stop loss, averaging down, and a lot of other investment practices.  It all depends on what you're comfortable with and how active you want to engage in the crypto market.  I think hodlers have in part made crypto what it is today, but it's (likely) not going to be as rewarding as someone who is actively managing their portfolio.

except Bitcoin,Eth,LSK,DASH,DOGE,LTC,WAVES and some major coins.. most of alts doesn't worth to hodl you will lose your investing in a dead coins..
others devs had collected their money and run away to another scam project.. Crypto is most risky place search before

Many of crypto lovers got successful through hodling because the values of their hodlings continue to strike high. I am so much positive with the capability of the market to strike high that's why I am also hodling potential coins such as ethereum and bitcoin.

It's not a good method to make a hodl during the bear season. Of course, if you think I'll buy coins and wait at least a year, then the situation will change.

I do believe in HODLing. If you want to get better earnings HODL your token or cryptos. Many project development has a potential usage in the future. When those project becomes in demand in the future, their token will increase in value.

I believe in hodling but for just a few coins I think I deserve, I do not pay much attention to what others say, I'm just sure I'm holding on to my own analysis, although I sometimes ask people for opinions, but indeed ETH and BTC have a large community let alone they are ranked first and second in CMC so naturally many believe by holding that both coin.

Is it just me who first heard the FOMO effect and looked for the meaning?

being less risky it would be good for us to hold bitcoin or Ethereum for us to make long-term investments, and or to pick cheaper coins from both on the exchange that we consider coins also have good potential, if I think this time is right to choose a coin for us to invest in the long run, hold a strong coin and do not let you choose wrong, because investing differently as we do day trading.
