Hello people!

Was looking at CMC and was wondering few years down the line what we will be able to see in this list and how long it will be?

Reality is we are very early in this industry and the pace at which projects are coming up and the technology is changing does anyone believe in HODLING cryptos anything other than Bitcoin and Ethereum?

I feel it's a buzz word used to create a FOMO effect
Hold is gold again it is proved, last few days ago BTC was at 6000$ to 6500$ but now is approximately at 8.5k$ value, so in here you can see why you can keep faith on holding?! And from my perception, I really like to buy at low rate and hold until it will raise up. So man its upto you what is right and what is wrong?

I believe the holding is harming the market welfare, so you should not hold everything that you have but only few particular coins that you believe in.
This is the common misconception about holding, some thinks that they should hold every coin they have but the truth is not, why ? because it is a traffic of currency flow, why not trading instead of holding ?
trading and holding are both risky but trading is more complex so you can have your strategy when youre doing it.

Even when I look on current prices of alts I still believe that holding may be extremely profitable in some cases, but only some.

i believe that in long term , say 4 or 5 years , some crypto project will get mainstreem , and the price will explode , so we can see another success like bitcoin one , so i believe hardly in long term holding

For me i realy bilieve  in holding and i know the holding and more patience is the most realy good and low risk in cryto trading. In crypto trading if you are greedy and panicking you will only always lose your money so i bilieve in holding.

I am one who believes in that, this kind of trend certainly gives advantages and disadvantages to the market. if all cryptocurrency owners hold more of their coins, this will cause the price of the coin to decrease and slow to rise.
but this might be a simple method for long-term investment, with the hope that one day the price of coins will double.

Me. But there were cases that cut lossing is needed because of losing a lot of money. And by that, hodling is not appropriate to all. Hodling is for coins that are really promising and showed great promise to all.

You can see that the market in recent days is showing signs of strong recovery, the price of bitcoin is constantly increasing but I think this time is not suitable for you to start buying and hold . It can be seen that bitcoin prices are rising but altcoin prices are falling sharply and with the market in the downtrend stage we can not predict anything. So I believe you should not hold.

Long-term investments justify themselves if you have a basic job, in any other case it is correct. There are many cases when you need money urgently and you have to sell purchased at the wrong price that you want!

Myself, I do believe in holding as I have made more funds in holding than in short term or trading. If you are patient enough in cryptocurrency, you would make massive money holding for the long term than short term.

Put it simply: it is wrong! to hold a coin while it's dropping 50%, 70%, 90%, 95%... and it's a quite common thing in crypto, especially if you're getting some small caps. You'll most often never get back what you invested.

However, I'm not saying you have to get into day trading... that's a full day's work that demands a lot of time, skill, and just isn't for anyone. You should get some balance that suits you most, follow prices, and be ready to pull the trigger.

Unless you're in crypto only a few months, you'll be aware that there are market cycles: one every year, sometimes two a year, sometimes one every two years... You should try to learn to spot those cycles, sell (relatively) near the top, buy (relatively) near the bottom, and you'll be good Wink

Before you manage to learn, you'll be a big fish food. And that's just how it goes. Good luck!

I am also believed on hodling these two coins are really on top in my lists. Bitcoin and ethereum which I can have a huge profit in the long run. If you don't believe on the project then don't hold coins for long term.

I believe in holding because nothing wrong about this. Holding of what you have in crypto is a way of safe decision for your coins. You can't sell your coin if there's down trend so you will hold it and if there's a bull run of course you want to sold in high price so you still hold it until you see that it's a right time to sell it.

I do not like to buy and keep very much. If I have more time then I like to trade more day, buying and selling the day I see more profit than buying and holding

The key should be safe trading not hodling without thinking on it. Whenever it fell more than %20, you should reconsider your decision and take action for it.
