Sometimes, getting rid of scam projects is hard since we wouldn't know in the beginning of the project if it is successful or not. I guess a remedy for it is just to seek for an early update about the flow of the project. We must do series of research about it before joining or investing.

We can not be 100% sure but doing a thorough research helps us a lot in making good decisions. I was scammed in Zenad Masternode project. In frustration and anger I started a discord server - Crypto Scams. It really took off and it has over 1000 members now. Discussing with fellow investors has helped all of us a lot. I think it is hard to avoid all of the scams but it is good to be careful to make the investment. We need ot find enough information about the coins such as the team members and the the project itself. If you can not find enough information, you had better go away.
