At first I thought the devs were pretty funny when they said they were going to try to revive this, because it really is impossible. But the fact that they're now just dragging their asses is just pathetic. This joke ended long ago and we still haven't received any honesty or remorse. All of the devs have focused on is pushing attention away from themselves, none of them have apologised to the investors who bought into the coin and lost money.

The motivation for a fork was to exclude the wallet addresses that Wolong held his pre-mine coins in.  But a fork at this stage is pointless because Wolong has shifted all his coins to different wallets and sold off the majority of his holdings, so there'd be no way to know which addresses his remaining holdings are held in and therefore which wallets to exclude from the forked blockchain.

A fork would just be screwing over the 99% who are still bag holders.  If they decide to fork, it would be a completely new Pandacoin and what would be the point of a new one given the tarnished reputation of it's predecessor?  One of the selling points of Pandacoin was that (1) Wolong would control it and take it to Doge levels and (2) he'd use his influence in the Chinese community to see it adopted.

Without Wolong (which is a good thing), it's just another coin though. One may as well just start using Vertcoin or Dogecoin, since Pandacoin was based on those anyway.

Remove unnecessary words and chinese characters first from the logo and have an updated wallet.

Fork can also be experimented and there is no need to worry about sore grapes at this stage.

Just update the wallet and cut the reward to 1/10th or 1/20th starting in a couple hundred blocks and let the price stabilize.

I made wolong a coin, and agreed not to dump my shares as this would fuck over IPO investors, and it was all transparent all the wallets were out there everything. Maybe he felt everyone was going to beat him to it (we weren't) but there was a miscommunication and things went south really quick.

However, I never dumped, artis didn't dump. We just watched it all happen as wolong made it rain and shook our heads in disbelief he would screw over his investors and people in his private club etc. etc.

My personal opinion is this coin has a long future ahead, and forking is sort of admitting defeat.

wolong may have forsaken all, but it will take a lot to get me to change the logo. What is trust in krypto anyway? The logo sends a strong message, trust no one, only yourself.

Markets crash, but it's the community of this coin and the anti-community that will decide it's value. However now that wolong has left us all, I don't see the purpose of protesting him any longer.

Also don't forget the devs are still recovering from not only the launch, setting everything up, and now dealing with everyone crying and even more trolls all day long. I wish people would have some mercy with all the people that are helping to keep PANDA alive.

Some of the devs dumped the premine EARLY. That is what triggered wolong to dump his too. Check sevoque's wallet history, he dumped 20M 2 days before wolong and he never made his wallet public until AFTER the shitstorm.
