have mined 600k ufo so far, might not sound much but thats what 400khs for almost a week of mining gets you Cheesy

Ha. ive got you beat. been mining for nearly a month and almost hit 70k. would be nearly 80k+ if it wasnt for pool 115 and their dishonest ways.
For me its more for the fun and belief that UFO coin will take off. and i was there at the beginning.  Cheesy

Can't sync NEW wallet. 87 blocks left and can't sync.

EDIT: Now 94 blocks that can't sync.

I managed to download 33479 out of 33573 blocks. So I guess wallet can't get past fork.

Anyone else having the same problem?

Great work guys.  I have been mining UFO on and off since launch and trading over at scifi-ex.com.  I always saw great potential in this coin.

Things everyone on this forum can do to help launch this coin into outerspace are:
- Get the hashrate up by mining this coin 24/7 on all your hardware GPU/CPU
- Start buying up some of the cheap cheap (So cheap) coins on scifi-ex and build some volume
- Don't dump your entire stash please - hopefully by now you can see the potential and don't want to sell out cheap
- Tweet about the coin daily
- Upvote this coin on reddit for CoinedUp and cryptsy
- contact other exchanges to get this interest up for this coin
- Pool operators - more pools please

Reasons why I think this coin has potential:
- Developers are interested in this coin
- Unique stock ticker symbol - you can't miss UFO, it stands out

Push on with marketing this coin guys and it should fly

check ufo.conf
dl blockchain again
and just wait

I copied ufo.conf file from the main folder to data folder. I have only 2 connections and can't pass block 33479 (fork).

What nodes do you use in your conf file?

EDIT: OK, wallet synced Smiley

I would like to offer 100 000 UFO bounty for someone to set up the official website with a nice professional wordpress template asap.

I would also like a section where people can donate UFO to various causes (such as Mars One Project, a fund for a UFO documentary we can give to a film maker, etc).

Now that we have fixed the difficulty algorithm, lets get UFO on more exchanges:

Register here and submit a support ticket to add UFO: https://www.cryptorush.in/

Email https://poloniex.com at poloniex@gmail.com  asking them to add UFO.

Make sure to mention that UFO has had its difficulty algo fixed, and that hash rate is rising!

Long live UFO we have something special here: a really dedicated team and community with a unique coin  Wink

These are my conf nodes and it works great:

addnode=37.187.58.155
addnode=79.108.180.52
addnode=24.148.77.143:9887
addnode=46.150.89.173:9887

addnode=199.27.134.19
addnode=176.31.160.122
addnode=37.187.47.62
addnode=162.243.195.113:9887

addnode=115.95.113.138:9887
addnode=192.168.1.67:9887
addnode=192.168.1.64:9887
addnode=192.168.1.65:9887
addnode=90.130.203.161:9887
addnode=162.242.175.149
addnode=162.242.175.149:9887
addnode=95.130.9.118:9887
addnode=95.130.9.118
addnode=115.29.37.3
addnode=115.29.37.3:9887
addnode=87.209.206.80:50430,
addnode=190.130.203.161:33120
addnode=209.159.236.197:46653
addnode=24.1.222.83:10266
addnode=149.254.218.185:51345
addnode=82.173.115.86:60093

Also - try restarting your computer, leaving the client with the above nodes to run for 5-10 minutes, sometimes patience is important with these things Wink Worse comes to worse save your wallet dat from appdata again and do a fresh install with the above nodes in conf, also check your firewall / antivirus is not blocking UFO from downloading the blockchain.

I would only mine in the pools in the OP as these ones have definitely updated for the fork with the new difficulty algo! I am sure the OP will be updated as we get more pools.

Also cisahasa: do you have an ETA on the new UFO site at ufocoin.co? Shall I just send the 100 000 UFO to you once the website is complete? Or shall I offer the bounty to anyone who wants to develop the site? If you don't mind someone else working on it?

I just think it is best to have the new official site up asap!

Nice to see community is growing! I just woke up here and will resume with more UFO work. I will do a really small code fix to show proper version so pool owners will not be confused. Check all the posts here to see new ideas and update the Community To Do List with your names. Also start working on the new community site.

Have an awesome day!

Are you doing the site? I would be happy to do it.
