Yes I did, if I run p2p I can see my shares happening. However when I ran your pool it didnt show my hashrate nor did it show any shares.
It stated "No Shares Yet" after 20 or so minutes of mining. I double checked my worker and all, and double checked everything.

The only thing that could have been wrong is that you tried connecting your worker for the MPOS pool to the p2pool, which will not work. Both pools operate in a very different way and use their own specific url to connect to. In p2pool you set your receive address as your username and coins will go directly to your wallet once a block is found and will also mature in your wallet. On MPOS your coins will be reserved for you, you can setup your receive address in your account and also set your payout trigger. If you want to run multiple mining rigs you will need to create a worker for each rig when using MPOS, on p2pool you can simply set the same receive address for each rig to see your combined result displayed on the statistics page.

I have just finished setting up our first NOMP pool for UFO at http://dutchpool.org . The p2pool version for UFO will be shutting down this week so please move your miners to the new pool.

I've given up on dutchpool.org, I've had trouble before when after mining for a week I didn't receive a single coin. I noticed today the site has change to NOMP so I thought I'd try again (fckbanks this time) and after a couple of hours nothing appears. When I mine other pools the coins appear almost right away.

Something isn't right there, I've given it two chances and each time I don't get a single coin. If I now switch back to my original pool I'll have a million coins by the end of the day, and they come in every few minutes in blocks of about 2500 at a time.

There is nothing wrong with http://dutchpool.org . I have checked your mining effort for FCK, you have processed exactly 8 shares which will hardly get you a block and therefor also no coins. The same applies to any coin, there is only 1 blockchain which is used by all central pools, all p2pools, all NOMP pools and all solo miners combined, so finding a block and coins will take time if you bring only a few kh/s of hashing power like in your case. You can check the UFO and FCK stats on the new NOMP pool at http://dutchpool.org to see that blocks have been found and are still being found. One more note about NOMP, it uses each coins fixed number of confirmations, this means that if a block is found it will take a number of confirmations before it is actually paid out, this can be checked on the stats page showing as block pending.

You can even check my own little miner at http://dutchpool.org under worker stats, address is Byt8cLVupfWgL2hGKc4yY34bgJkZFtbRTp , to see that it works fine, hell, I could even show you my couple of million UFO coins mined without any problem. If you still have issues you should ask the community or the pool operator for help instead of pointing the finger at anyone.

what is going on with this coin. why is the twitter account doing nothing? I feel like such a good niche is being squandered here. Nobody really gets why this coin can be massive.

It seems that the coin went too much to that "niche" approach and never got traction.
Too bad but with 100 coins coming every week , slims chances of revival.

Gimmick niches are done in the crypto world. You would have to know the subject of ufo's to realise the difference in potential for this coin.
