Another missed deadline?

What's worse to me is that there isn't even an attempt at communicating that we shouldn't expect a Wednesday update.

I can't believe Ken is too busy to reply to us and post.

I'm sure he's working on the hashrate, but it takes 30 seconds to pop in and let us know he doesn't have time for a full update and to reschedule. I'm annoyed.   Wink

all i can say is my god.

with todays technology , you can log into bitcointalk while on bed before going sleep, and formulate the words to post, whether an update on data center or other little thing.

ken used to be active and reply here immediately, during last year. now it seems opposite.

Well, let's not get ahead of ourselves. He did post five days ago informing us why he missed last Wednesday's update.

I agree with your general sentiment.

The lack of updates is certainly disconcerting, but I'm hoping to hear something from Ken about those 1000 chips that Hashfast allegedly mailed out yesterday (the assumption, which is obviously an assumption but I suppose in the current environment it behooves me to explicitly state so, is that VMC, ActM, or whichever affiliated entity has purchased some or all of those chips).

Also, If Bargraphics's offer still stands, I don't see why we shouldn't throw the nearly 1 PH/s of hardware that ActM has into action.

Weekly Update: 5/29/2014

Sorry for the late update.  I have been busy working in our DC and taking care of our relationship with hashfast in light of their bankruptcy.

Datacenter:

We are having some problems keeping our AC running, this is why we have not increased the hashrate.  The project manager has now got the AC people working to correct the problem.

AMC:

I will finish the shares transfers as soon as I can.  I expect this to be in the next few days.

VMC:

We are working to build and sell boards to hashfast customers.

Follow up questions:

Datacenter:
How much more hashrate will be be able to fit into this DC once the AC is working properly?

VMC:
What kind of volume are we talking with the board sales? Is a contract involved?

Almost certainly not, VMC will be splitting the HashLast customers with PepperMining which have a similar product but better reputation.

Can we please get some back of the envelope numbers for assets and liabilities?

What was the net effect to date of:

eASIC relationship
People's ASIC acquisition
Ken+family salary
DC
Prospector boards
Gold rush boards

What does inventory look like?

Visibility to / confidence of distributing preferential dividend before any additional plow-back?

An effective manager should have all of this information at his fingertips.

WOW. 2 months since the farm deployment began and the AC is still an issue. How could Ken lack the foresight to fix the AC when it has been a recurring problem and it would cost significantly less to replace the whole system than the lost revenue as an opportunity cost.

Also the website is still not fixed. Fucking unbelievable. No financials is disappointing but I would be lying if I said I was surprised.

Peppermining has more than a better reputation, they actually provide support and working contact information to their customers.

I'd recommend taking a look at the VMC Sales thread in the harware section to get an idea of what people are up against.

Redundant since the latter is why they have the former. PepperMining is a good company and Mr. Teal a great engineer, but to the best of my knowledge (which is limited to the information from their thread) I do not think that they have the capacity to service the many, many dissatisfied HashLast customers in a timely manner (through no fault of their own) and VMC is simply an alternate route to get one hashing faster for a similar or cheaper financial cost (at the cost of greater risk based on what has been seen in the thread that you mentioned).
