Hi,
Can you update the situation regarding dCom (DCM) locked withdrawals ?
When can we expect it back to normal ?

Thanks,
Cara

edit: withdrawals resumed, problem solved

Never get an answer on this thread, but the at least the withdraw worked out. I had a nice exchange via email.

But Hey, I read here they helped trading scam coins again ?
Wow, they really don't give a sh*t about their users https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=730002.0

I have my concerns as well. As I see that Intellicoin, USEcoin was hosted by Bittrex and many other 1 day coins get on this exchange, and my coin which is around for 2 months now (XGR, Goldreserve) is not even close to get on this exchange! I get only copy paste answers via email not a straight line which may explain why I am ignored!

I didn't lose enough to care about them. I'm no police, no judge. just another victim of their disrespectful attitude towards another life

Bittrex is great!  Happy to see you thriving!
I suggest a feature request - but it would need some serious work on your frontend engine.
I know it's tough, but you would make many users happy. Especially the one with smaller machines.
The reason behind it is that we actually have to close all bittrex windows if we want to do anything else with our machines.
I can keep poloniex and mintpal tabs open - but bittrex is so hungry for RAM, that two or three bittrex coins are already too much, to leave open when not absolutely necessary.  I don't know about everyone else, but myself, I cannot afford yet to trade on a 64GB RAM, SSID, watercooled supercomputer :-)
You can see the drama I am in ... easily when you go to the task manager inside Chrome (menu ... tools ... task manager), and sort decreasing by the 'memory' column. Compare mintpal (crappy charts, but less RAM), poloniex (good charts, less RAM), bitcoinwisdom (amazing charts, less RAM), cryptrader (amazing charts, less RAM) - and bittrex (good charts, and soon less RAM  Wink )
As soon as I close the bittrex tabs, my computer inhales, exhales - and starts smiling, and is happy again :-)
I am not sure what makes the bittrex frontend so memory heavy, but in my experience with programming, it could even be a little thing. Some basic architecture decision taken differently, and suddenly *whew* much less RAM usage.  Depending on the language you used, a bit of profiling might not be difficult even, but will tell you which subfunctions are eating all that RAM.
What do you think?
Tip me for my work: 19ff2KsUxD7B3EumxhrKRJ5qDP7yc8YQfD
Me,too. Do you find a solution. Right now I install an extension to hibernate all bittrex tabs. But it is not convenient and I can's see the real-time price from tabs.
I am using "Tabs Outliner" for the same purpose. But it's a workaround, I'd prefer to always keep'em open.
Hello bittrex, any news about this?
I have just had to hardreset, because of bittrex eating all my RAM the computer froze completely!!!
It could be that over time, the problem gets worse when keeping bittrex tabs open? Memory leak?
Yes, it seems to be a memory leak.
I left a bittrex tab open for 24 hours. When revisiting it in the Chrome Task Manager it was now using >800,000 kb.
800,000 kb FOR ONE BROWSER TAB is
* more than 3 times as much as bittrex tabs use in general.
* about 8-10 times as much as as mintpal tabs are using.
* about 4-6 times as much as a poloniex tab is using.
Your browser frontend has a leak.

I actually considered to buy more RAM, because bittrex is so memory-hungry.
Unfortunately, the max RAM on my machine is 8GB, and I have already filled that.
Please give it another thought, how you can solve this issue with your website.
Reach out to experts, open your sourcecode, create a programming challenge, invite to a hackathon ...

A patient ... bump.  Any news?

Because just today, my machine was frozen again for half an hour; it had run into its RAM limits, because of bittrex' memory hunger.

Grmpf.

Hello Bittrex.

looks like you need to start to show the whole orderbook.
At the moment you are always truncating it, at 50 levels?

But people have started to manipulate that, with tons of small orders. See below.

Then also your "Sum of Order Volume" diagram is broken / manipulated.

Have a look yourself.
Today's LXC market:

Hi,
When I try to send a market order through Bittrex API I receive the message "Market order disabled", but my API Keys have market orders enabled. Does anyone know if market orders are forbidden for all users or it is a problem with my API Keys?

Thanks!

Feature request: Fake volume should stay 72 hours

Hello Rami, Richi and Ryan,

we and Dimitri like your exchange a lot. But we have a feature request that would help us a lot in our endeavours.

Yesterday we tried to fake the RipoffCoin volume to get on the first page of your fine exchange, only to learn that this fake volume is gone today. Can you please implement an algorithm that fake volume only expires after 72 hours? Right now we can't afford 2 x 0.25% fee on every trade.

Branding suggestion:

TREX&RIPO※FakeVolumeExtender™

Thank you!

As is their site.  At least I'm no longer able to get to it.  Oh boy.

Please remove the minimum trade size feature, this is bad for the traders.

"Your quantity is less than the minimum trade size."

I have 1.0 Fiber and can´t sell it...this is unreal.

Had 11 coins, sold 10 only in a 300 coin buy order?!? Now stuck with 1,0, looks like suspicious to me.

The minimum trading limit is what puts me off from using this "next-gen" exchange.

Warning: Do not trust Bittrex with your money. I deposited my coins to my Bittrex account 2 times in the past 3 weeks and they never showed up on my account balance stats. They took my coins. That is exactly what happened. Be careful when using this exchange.

Hi there.

Quick question - I couldn't find this info on the website or on this thread.

The volume graph - each bar is split into light blue and dark blue - what does this represent?

Cheers

Dave
