Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?!

I think it's just rumors that want to destroy bitcoin because not all parties have a good response to bitcoin, but this certainly does not become an obstacle to bitcoin progress in the future.

I don't think this is just about destroying bitcoin's reputation, as we can see its price is pretty high, high enough that even those people who have average lifestyle is will have a hard time to buy one. And the technique is that they are spreading false rumor and then make people go hype, selling their BTC and they will take advantage of that, they will bought some at a lower price. That is how it works, so hold on tight, they will try to get your BTC at whatever means.

No. You didn't get it. You are still very young in the market. If you are here for too long then you will see that a lot of FUD's around here going around telling bitcoin is dead. Just dig a few old threads and you will see what I'm talking about. And those paid schills are here trolling specially when the price of bitcoin is going down. They always do that. They will always ride on when bitcoin is at is lowest, then quickly disappear when it recover and even go higher than the previous highs. Just wait and see. There will be floods of thread once we hit a sudden nosedive.

The main thing here is not to listen to all of them and try to be immune yourself otherwise you will be swayed on their side to sell your bitcoin because they really want to cause panic around. Just be strong and patience and not to believed anything they say.

You have a point and i wouldn't even call them failures because they still have a chance to succeed with bitcoin but they out of their own will have decided against doing that and so i'd say they are lazy and unwilling to lift a finger and thats why they keep wishing bitcoin's doom.

it is not the fact that bitcoin is dead the people sometime says wrong statements which is disturbing for the users but when the users of bitcoin become attached to this then they realise the importance of bitcoin and they are doing best for this crypto currency they are not come in the people talks in the society. through this action the bitcoin become more familier among the other users as well.

They do that to cause fear and panic in the system causing the faint hearted ones to sell off their bitcoins  for cheaps  so that they can buy it all for themselves when the prices of bitcoin takes a tumble. Its  an old trick by the bad guys  and they seem to be succeeding in recent times.

Jeez... Do some research before posting, I saw one post which got LOADS of attention, yet the first post was done by paint, with an unlabelled graph which showed wrong data!

This is getting to the point where we are affecting newer members or gullible people into selling/dumping all their coins instead of keeping them. I mean when I come on the forum, I see that its crashing, why would I buy in?

I think we need to stop giving the panicking people attention and focus more on positive sides.

That is because bitcoin must have gone down for a moment they panick thinking it will not rise its value. They were not considering the fact that it has a fluctuating value.

I would also add that it's fear.. people are not brave enough or have courage enough to take risk on something that doesn't provide historical data to help them feel better about their investment. so this is why they scream "its going to crash!" or "its dead!"

 I think people who say that is an anti bitcoin.. they will post bitcoin is now dead so people will be panic sell and and they will say that transfer to our wallet your money will secured and will grow faster....i think thats there business strategy to gain customer...

Bitcoin changes daily ,but i believe that the altcoins is were we must invest our bitcoins atleast a part of them as they are getting hot,these days.Bitcoin is dead because it were worthing 1000dollars in the past with a pump made by some and then bitcoin crashed,now we are slowly growing but we have in mind that goal for that price again.

They can develop their own but for sure it's not decentralized.
If we are talking of government we know already that they want to control everything and they are on a centralized way but we found

Those people who keeps on saying that BTC is dead has nothing to do in life but spread FUD because they might be holding altcoins they want to pump but unfortunately the coin they posses has been bleeding to death. Or maybe they are paid by altcoin devs to discourage people from buying Bitcoin most especially to newbies they are the most affected by price and Bitcoins volatility. It is always our advantage when it comes to up's and down's of Bitcoin's price.

Because they are not used to whenever its market value is falling not knowinf that Bitcoin is volatile and decrease on its market value is just a part of its volatility. But surely, those who sold their Bitcoin earlier missed the opportunity to earn bigger profit in the future or even now because its valur is much more expensive than ut was before.

Those people that keep saying that are those who do not have trust on bitcoin. It is normal for the price of bitcoin to go down. We know that bitcoin has a bad usage in drugs but it did not stop from the bitcoin price to increase. Just trust the bitcoin and you will earn more profit just by investing.

I think there are 2 possible reasons behind this; one is for them to make the sellers think that they should sell at a cheap price, so the people saying this can easily buy. The other reason is maybe they have found other coins more convenient for them.
