Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?!

I think that they just want an attention that occurs bitcoin. Because they really want bitcoin but they don't have the knowledge of it and as I see Bitcoin is totally increase this month and I expect that it can Increase again before the year ends.

I think those guys who are telling that Bitcoin was dead is gathering Bitcoin on the market. Giving us a gossips to low the price of bitcoin and of course they will swallow all of us if we're not smart enough to deal with it.

I think there are 2 possible reasons behind this; one is for them to make the sellers think that they should sell at a cheap price, so the people saying this can easily buy. The other reason is maybe they have found other coins more convenient for them.

I do not deserve to speak like this to lower the Btc price because they are very wrong and they say "Btc is dead" when they have no logical reason. What will happen when they lower the price too much? in this case they will also lose themselves.

Its not just about they don't know what they are saying, but this is to manipulate people into selling their btc so the price goes downtrend and that they can buy cheaper btc. and for a newbie who fear they could lose thier investment, they sell.
those who posts such thing do have motives in telling sort of things and in short, they're trolls.

Every time, for as long as I remember, that I go on bitcointalk, everyone keeps posting "BTC IS DEAD" "SELL" etc... And then a few Sr/Hero members come and explain how thats wrong.

Aren't we used to the price fluctuating by now? Whats with all the crying/moaning about price bubbles, crashing, inflations, Russia, China blablablablablablaaaaa!

Jeez... Do some research before posting, I saw one post which got LOADS of attention, yet the first post was done by paint, with an unlabelled graph which showed wrong data!

This is getting to the point where we are affecting newer members or gullible people into selling/dumping all their coins instead of keeping them. I mean when I come on the forum, I see that its crashing, why would I buy in?

I think we need to stop giving the panicking people attention and focus more on positive sides.

I don't know why they keep on saying that. I think they don't know what are they talking about. For me, bitcoin is not dead truthfully it keep on increasing and many people still depend on it. Bitcoin is a huge help for everyone because of the profits that can get and give here.

Because they don't know what they're talking about. Those people are just handing their bitcoins to someone else who deserves them more.

Indeed, furthermore I think they keep saying that because they wanted to hoard the bitcoin that has been sold so that the profit is just only for them. Or maybe they only create this topic to have an issue that will make the people to panic sell.

this is maybe a trick to us. Some people are saying that bitcoin is dead for us to sell right away our bitcoin. Some just want other bitcoin users to sell their bitcoin so that if time comes that bitcoin value will increases it's only them who can still have the bitcoin at the best price with no competitors.

Sorry for those people who believe in this story.  This thread is month ago and maybe that time Bitcoin is not stable ( low values i think).  As of this moment,  bitcoin is having his record high that many people are surprise to its increase in value. If people believe in this,  many would loss a lot of money.  Bitcoin is not constant,  the value changes and we cant do anything about it.  But even if its taking a dip, it have its return to more higher value.  Some people don't trust the potential of bitcoin that time,  negativity strikes them down., and now they feel sorry for that.

One of the reason why some people keep on saying that bitcoin is dead is because their perceptions about bitcoins will never lasts. We might experience fluctuating value of bitcoin and that made them jump to the conclusions that trusting bitcoin is not worth it. To be honest, that is my perceptions before but now i have a positive thoughts about bitcoins since my best friend already proved to me that bitcoin is worth spending time.

BCH or any altcoins cannot replace bitcoin in the top spot, the price movement like the recent pump of BCH is just a strategy of the whales

BTC is dead actually for long time now.
BTC is not what Satoshi Nakamoto wanted, the Idea is dead and in its place took a bankers like coin.
Is BTC decentralized? NO, only few Miners control the whole mining
Is BTC safe for block alterations? No, because few Miners can make what every they want.
Is BTC all time up? No because is not decentralized and if the big Mining farms go down, BTC is going dead...

I do not know why they keep on ssying that especially today that the bitcoins set another record breaking value of a $10k and still they pump but we all know that they will come to a huge fall again but that time is not today so how they can say that the bitcoins are dead. For me bitcoins are not dead but they will be but for now lets just cherish the fact that it can gives us a huge value a huge profits because of their continues rise in the market.

People keep saying bitcoin is dead because they don't know what they are talking about. The other reason is the value of bitcoin suddenly get drop they're get panic and become hopelessness. Actually, I also get panic if the value of bitcoin get decrease a day because it will affect to our bitcoin saved or in our wallet. But still now the value of bitcoin get higher and higher so that it's time to make a good investment and get a good profit. Stop saying that the bitcoin is dead because more people become millionaires through bitcoin and more people get support and solved the financial problem day-to-day.
