I knew they had the problem, I should have just been paying more attention to the number of zeros

Oh, BCmultipool is a great news!

Does anybody know how mintpal calculates the percentage changes of the coin value? I thought it was change in 24 hours, but obviously it's some other time span. Or is the current value compared to some average price?

It is from 24:00 gmt price

After multi pools opening, price will go further. So I believe that new established price till that moment should be at least 1100 sat

Anything below is a good buy and bad sell. But in the market are involved full spectrum of emotions. People are acting according to different factors

I believe it should be even higher than that, we started at around 2000 sat, and now there is even someone who has lost over 500k (somehow), but im in this for the long haul, lowest i would ever consider sell SOME of my coins would be at 20,000 sat. lowest. :-)

Just got an idea on the POS.. does this mean that i am only earning 1% of my total coins every year?

for example a coins worth 1,000 USD will have an interest of 10 USD per year? and the wallet should be left unlock and let it go POS mining?

if that's the case it's a very low profit on holding the coins for a long period of time.. or maybe my understanding is incorrect.
please enlighten me.

The 1% per year means the coin price only needs to rise 1% per year in order for your investment to not lose value. Compare with MINT, the price will have to rise 20% in first year for holders to break even due to higher coin inflation.

1% per annum coin inflation is a big positive feature of BlackCoin. There is no huge new supply of coins to be dumped. If someone wants the coins, they have to buy them at market rate.

You have to unlock and open wallet for initiating the PoS, then open it time after time, when you are working on computer. To get reward open it for longer time till the mined amount is accepted and your coins moved to Stake position to mature mined coins. After it gets to maturing, there is no need for wallet to be opened.

And, yes, 1% inflation is the great thing that not everyone can chew up.

Yeas only 1%-1.5% year. But note that other POW coins are spamed aroud like zerg zelings to eat BTC.
BC don't spam while it has 1% inflation, same time BTC have 10% inflation in 10-20 years it will be equal to BC.
But BTC inflation cause miners and so get nothing from it ? So why you should keep BTC ?(This is most fucked up part for me Sad )
I guess you belive it will get more value over time.Same is with BC.
But with BC you don't care that 1% inflation because you as owner get those 1% interest in BTC miners get cash from inflation not you.
Anyway if BC will be popular then winning a mining block will be most profitable eg. i have got 20,40,7 BC rewards in two days after BC mining phase has finished.
Good in BC is that you can get 1st steak after 8h low amount for me is better than wait 30 days and get more...

Your true income is hidden in low inflation and those money from inflation comes direct to owners so i reality you won't be affected by inflation like other POW coins.
1% inflation means when none will sell BC and you want buy all new produced BC you will need 2000BC-0,02BTC today to keep it price while Doge need 560BTC...
Do you see difference ?
I believe that BC can get much higher...BTW it is extremely fast coins 10-15s transaction. If i have to send BTC,LTC it is like turtle compare to BC.
Funny none talk about it.

Can you see BlackCoin with a $10million market cap? Any time in to the future.

That's x20 from here.

With no coin inflation, the long term holders are going to do very well indeed.

The transaction speed for BC is amazing. It's much quicker to convert BTC to BC, make the transfer, then convert BC back to BTC.

ComputeNextStakeModifier uses hashes of 64 blocks (both PoW and PoS) as source of entropy.
Compare 64 blocks to forge StakeModifier with 10 blocks to confirm transaction.

Read this thread more closely: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=131901.0

And diff PPCoin 0.2 and 0.3

You'll see why it's a bad idea to turn off PoW
