If you look at the BlackCoin rich list, all the big holders are still holding.

Code:
#	address	balance
1 BRLbUWDC5iSokSFED1GaSdxC1ReEvsaE3y 1 633 526.19229164 bc
2 B5AAZC33Kjy4kHyyNnbRrPYHGqTsMebpx9 1 515 617.28279871 bc
3 BAfagM1qg7Z6zCbijiB4ZetwtFLFgFmKBE 1 362 728.94303622 bc
4 BBivCaM3Qj4euRnFJmYiTFTGfWEzU9A9BL 1 358 611.45298129 bc

10 BALoJW2zw4pKZfbuNtSzYVr5oDzcWiiXgg 923 254.07157521 bc

So not sure how many BlackCoins the whales were meant to have had. The big holders (all those with > 1million) still have the same balances. During the so called pump, these positions didn't change much if at all, so, what did it all mean??! Hot air?

Actually, the #1 address a few days ago was at 1.7mil and is no longer
in the top 100!

...And don't forget at least one of those addresses is Mintpal's wallet and the other smaller exchanges no doubt.

I think those sells are made by some person or a group with some profit in mind, but I can't get what's the plan of those.

Now all price indicators (percentage) has been reset. At 1000 sat BC is in green line

I am still holding for the better times, stand against provocations. That, what happened, was massive dump, not just panic sell

Have you read this post? And have there been any counter measures taken work around the problem?

I don't think there's any easy fix not including PoW, and if you make the chain completely PoS you run into the forking issue (that miners can mine both forks of a chain easily and without consequence, so when forks are started they continue to propagate forever).

You can just turn PoW back on and make the block reward 0 at block 10,000.

That's seems sensible. Turn POW back on and set low/zero coin reward.

Mintcoin follows this approach. Just curious, how many PoW blocks are selected for their modifier. I guess zero.
