It's not too late for the pools, but I think people would still want to see a decent return on their hash. Then you can get people in the door. A bit better. Some people have reported quite resasonable ones recently.
And yes, I do realise that the value of the blackcoin will go up. So the lesser value will still be worth more.
We need a way of reporting daily values for mh/s. So people can decide and posting in this thread is great, but people won't read it. It now costs a significant amount of your life to read all these pages. Only bitcoin had that much value.
It's a little too unknown when you can mine yourself and get best value.
People need to think of ways to get people back on the pools. A mh/s per bc wiki could be feasible, I might be able to do that myself, but it involves self reporting.

The IRC room occasionally gets sporadic updates but they rarely make it outside there and are vague at best. I think I prefer the Mark Zuckerberg approach of getting it out there quick and dirty and fixing bugs as we go. Every day without an update is a whole load of potential hashes wasted. The lead dev seems to have a great interest in financial markets and wants to apply "algotrading" to the pool, he is quick to quote Wikipedia pages of complicated financial models, enough to bamboozle anyone curious enough to ask and probably stop them asking again. I believe his focus on this is slowing down the fundamentals, that being working stats and different hashing algos (SHA256, Keccak, Adaptive-N, Quark etc) which would increase adoption and instill confidence. For the record I've been hashing at 5.7Mh/s constantly and every day's payment, taking the lowest price point it could have been converted to BC comes out at 0.015BTC. This is pretty poor, so I'm switching to an unofficial pool to see if they do any better just "getting it out there" and not overcomplicating things. I noted it runs on a home internet connection so not sure how robust it is. |

after 24 of mining (4mhs) I have recieved 380 BC which mulitplied by 5800 gives my 0,022 btc not that bad  |

I been asking as well on IRC for updates, they are keep saying "SOON", "TOMMOROW" I told them HYPE is gone, already! People went somewhere else. At the moment with 500MH/s scrypt they are mining about 2,5BTC daily which is a huge buy support for BC price... LOL |
