The volume is worryingly low. The only action occurs when the market manipulators pump it up or dump it. When they go away the market just dries up and no trades occurs for sometimes 20+ minutes at a time. Expecting a downtrend soon when others catch on and start to sell off.

I'm pretty new in the Alt coins and discovered the BlackCoin, looks really promising so bought myself some coins today.
Keep up the good work and hopefully this will be a very big succes.
Yes, This is a bright future! Worth the investment! Everything will be alright! I couldn't agree more

i have discovered a flaw with current PoS implementation
you can easily do a 51% attack with PoS blocks without needing large holdings
since PoS blocks are generated on a coin age basis, you could create TXO's delayed by a time offset at the minimum TXO cost for a future attack period
so after creating 10000 TXO of 1 MINT separated by 0.5 seconds to make sure 60 consecutive blocks are generated at repeated interval by your wallet 20 days in the future, the attack would last 1 hour and 40 minutes
enough to put the security and function of a coin in question
couple that with the fact the difficulty calculation includes PoS blocks, that would mean difficulty would jump to stratospheric levels making it impossible to mine PoW blocks
are people really not concerned about this? YOU CAN 51% ATTACK ANY POS COIN WITHOUT THE NEED FOR 51% OF SUPPLY OR ANY PoW HASHRATE AT ALLHi all. Just thought I'd share some of the joy we've been dealing with on the Mintcoin thread. Have a good night. Check our code i'd say

What is it with 37846 from 5 days ago that has me so stuck from, does anyone have a clue for me. Sure is frustrating being stuck without any help available for days on end I have downloaded the latest wallet for BC? from the main site three times now and tried it with the same results, I connect to peers and try endlessly to synch and get nowhere. Is it possible their are multiple 1.05 versions and the main site was not updated to the latest? Is there some special .conf file not mentioned on the main page I am missing? Is there anyone or anywhere to ask and get help on such things for BC? Had bought some cheap BTC and Zeitcoin durring this dip was thinking BC too was cheap now but but finally just bought a bunch of Dogecoin, at least I will have fun with them while I wait for the BC wallet to try. I don't supose there is a web or paper wallet for blackcoin? Dogecoin has a nice paper / brain / bulk wallet site here http://dogeaddress.com/I bet someone here decent at development could get one going for Blackcoin too using this https://github.com/litecoin-project/liteaddress.orgFYI New sites and services to support BC would help add value, especially though support for those trying to support / buy / use this coin is crucial. IMHO

Have you tried deleting the blockchain and re-synching ? Failing that, close down the wallet and re-open it ( sounds daft, but worked for me a couple of times, there were a few blocks that it seemed to get hung up on )

Could you be a little less obvious? We all know you just love this coin's ass and are kicking yourself for not buying at 6000. Nigga please.

IMHO Try deleting everything in the AppData's BC folder except wallet.dat then try opening your wallet. it should download the blockchain again. also there's already something like that for BC. it's a few pages back so you just search for it i think i saw it last week. you can create your own paper wallet, etc.

Come on, 500 BTC/24hr is low?? And that is just for mintpal... There is not very much other alts that do this volume...

Oi. Should I lock my wallet until there is a fix? That would be the safest move? I'm pretty paranoid about theft.
