I don't recommend an exchange at launch. Perhaps wait a few days, let people actually interested mine. An exchange at launch just makes more people want to dump immediately. Did no one see zeitcoin?

I was interested in mining but now I can't mine the coin because my pc/miner doesn't work mining -n. I invested before it was changed from script to -n so what do I do till then, let everyone else just water down the price it may be when I was one of the early investors who got bait and switched on?

Why would ppl want GPU coin straight on an exhange the day it starts mining unless they're up for a pump and dump!!!! This is fucking up the scene for Zeit and Helix both coins I was part of which lost value quick. Any fuckers requesting exchange now and at launch should go fuck themselves coz we want this coin to succeed not flop jus so u c***s can profit

How do you mine an Adaptive-N coin anyway?

You just use your regular .bat you use for scrypt or?

Someone please give me a little hand here please.

However i have never mined a Scrypt-N coin ( which apears to be the case with GPU coin ) , so could some one give a link on "how to " or something like that ( i guess we need to use vertcoin miner ? ) anyway i will apriciate a lot some help !


Also, this coin needs a european partner asap Shipping, paying extra taxes etc is not the best thing if you want to buy some GPU's whit this coin.

Use vertminer
change cgminer.exe to vertminer.exe & --scrypt to --scrypt-vert in .bat

the rest of the settings are the same except you have to be careful with the thread concurrency, to which the N-factor is really sensitive. Usually try 70%-80% of your normal scrypt one.
Also, you will see about halved hash rate you normally would see for Scrypt coins, but it is ok as everybody is halved as well.

Based on my experience, if you see crash on miner start, your TC is too high. If you see too many HW, your TC is too low.

I use 27400 1025 1400 -g 1, for normal scrypt coin.
For N-factor, I use 24000 and keep everything else the same I will get 49% of the normal hash, no HW.
If I change it to 23000, too many HW. If I change it to 24500, hash drop dramatically.
If I change it to 25000, crash on miner start.

I'm going to attempt to setup Verminter again, but I was only able to get around 30% normal the last time i tried on Windows, and other rigs didnt work at all.
At 30% im better off mining something else and buying on day one.(Mintpal is great!)

Script-N is interesting but why not just increase the memory requirement for regular Script. Asics will be made for Litecoin specifically, and any change to the memory requirement(increase from x to say + 100%) will hinder asics designed for Litecoin useless, in theory. This way hash rates will be closer to normal(compared to vert) and still asic resistant, short - medium term. I considered doing this myself on a new coin but having gotten around to it.

Mintpal sucks, every coin I have mined does a nosedive when it hits that place. I vote for holding out for a real exchange after a few days. If you guys need help with vertminer theres a good thread for settings on here that worked good for me. If you get like 5 or 6 khsh its your tc to high. Hw errors to low. Ill post a link later for the settings. If you test it out and perfect it on a vert pool ahead of time you wont regret it. Now we just need everybodys opinions on pools. Which pools on the list of the op can you guys vouch for?
