I stayed up all yesterday and all night backing up my laptop to my hard drive(GPU covers all but one sata port), rushing to get everything backed up before I unplugged the hard drive and put GPU 0 back in...and this. F*ckin BS

I'm setting my miner to Doge and going to sleep.
Good night angel  Grin

Scrypt-N is great! The Vertcoin launch went perfectly smooth and made me filthy rich :3
Don't bash the algorithm, bash the dev!

Exactly.  People just talking out their asses cause they're too dumb to setup their miners.

Does anyone have a bat scipt for 4 R9 280x GPU's?   need bat scipt for vetminer 0.5.3.

Any help would be appreciated.

Before attempting anything you need to get a custom miner for Scrypt-N.

=> http://vertcoin.org/#mining

It works the same way as classic miners, input your info in the conf file or directly in the bat file.
CAUTION: the Vertminer on this page comes with a default .conf file, delete it if you put all your settings in the .bat file!

The settings are different than on classic Scrypt for most cards and you need 8GB of system RAM for best results if you have multiple cards. Here are some .bat settings that work for me:

280X at about 370KH/s (8GB System RAM):
Quote
color 0A
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 200
vertminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://yourpool.com:port -u nick.worker -p pass -I 13 -g 2 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 8193 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-engine 1050 --gpu-fan 50-90

HD7950 at about 315KH/s (12GB System RAM):
Quote
color 0A
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 200
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
vertminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://yourpool.com:port -u nick.worker -p pass -I 19 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 19712 -g 1 --gpu-fan 60-90 --gpu-powertune 10 --gpu-memclock 1485 --gpu-engine 1080

If you think this was useful to you consider mining for me while you test your optimal settings Smiley
Quote
vertminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://stratum.vtcpool.co.uk:3333 -u b0ss.kindminer -p kindminer

I will definitely mine for you while I test it.  One question.  I have 05.3 Vertminer and the link yougave is 0.5.2  Do I need the 0.5.2 or can I use the newer one?

Both should work, if you do get problems just use 0.5.2 then, it works for me.

STOP MINING.  OUR CURRENT DEV IS FIRED AND WE NOW HAVE A NEW DEV.

So you needed 45 minutes to find out that you got a bad developer and have already a better one hired.

I'm impressed that you think someone will actually believe this  Roll Eyes

Yes, I 100% believe in that I can hire a good developer in 5 minutes if I have 71BTC

So, who was the dev? I want to know because I am working on my own alt coin and need to hire a dev. Also, did the wallet I just installed might have a virus of some sort in it?

THIS IS FUBAR, STOP MINING.  OUR CURRENT DEV IS FIRED AND WE NOW HAVE A NEW DEV.  WE WILL RE-LAUNCH TOMORROW AND IF THAT LAUNCH FAILS WE WILL BE SENDING BACK ALL THE IPO INVESTORS MONEY.

I must apologize for this, and can only hope you all will stand by us.  I know this has already been a rough start, but we do believe that if successful we can provide a great service to all the miners.

So even when you risk an IPO, which requires a decent team and people to have some faith in you, you still work with an incapable team, a dev you've probably never worked with before, and who has no clue what he's doing... Oh, and you don't pay attention to other launches, because you're at least the 3rd with a runaway dev...

Personally I really wonder why people believe in premines, IPOs and other stuff that requires you to just trust a guy you've never seen or heard of, with a probably fake nick, and no way to find out who it was. Ideas are just that, ideas... If you're willing to pay for them I have a billion shitty ones Wink

So who is taking your place?

I am still a little appalled that they would wait 30 minutes until after the failed launch to say anything to alleviate concerns.  They just hid..
