DEVS,
I wasted all day for this launch, and I am also in the IPO.
Tomorrow's re-launch is on MONDAY and I have to work.
So I can't set anything up till 9pm Eastern.  Please start the
re-launch at 9pm Eastern or I and many others can't mine, and
we were with you from the start.  Or maybe start it at 11pm Eastern,
because that would be 8,9,or 10pm for the rest of the USA.
Please post your time for a night launch tomorrow, or postpone
launch till next weekend (Sat/Sun) when people are not at work.
Thank you

Guys, GPU Coin asked me to replace the dev originally working on this project.

I'm actually an investor myself on GPUCoin, so it's in my best interest that it succeeds.. I think it's a great business model.. and I want to really support it.

I've got the old source now, and i'll be combing it over to make fixes.  Properly test it, deploy it on many VPS seed nodes, setup dns seed, and get this properly launched.

Please do not panic, we will get this relaunched properly.  And this coin will be successful.

Thnx.

Fubar. Your stupid coin and your incompetent dev cost me more than 0.2BTC in rig rental. I hope you could include me in the IPO for that much. I have proof. Currently 4 rigs mining on Betarigs, 10mh/s for 6 hours.
I feel for you. Mine Vertoin at least, not to loose money!
Also, Dev, I am quite sure you need to give some compensation here! As bonus or prolonged IPO!

I wouldn't relaunch either. Choose the right fork and implement it in a new wallet. Everyone has to update. Some will lose their coins, some not.

I would definitely relaunch.  It looks like too many coins where being issued, and only to a few miners.

Come mine Redd -- redd.oakpool.com

REDD is Scrypt. I rented 4 Scrypt-N adaptive rigs, which cost twice to 3x as much.

Fuck this shit. There goes my money.

For re-launch, please get rid of the scrypt-n crap and go with regular scrypt!!!

NO! GO WITH KECCAK!!!!!

this +1, keccak is GPU friendly. no such heavy load as scrypt

WILL YOUR DEV PUT THE SOURCE ON GITHUB?

Yes absolutely, i will put it on github, just like i have with realstackcoin.  Code will be goign up , up to the minute, so you guys see what's going on, except for the final genesis hash and checkpoints, which will be checked in at launch time.

You can view how that process went through realstackcoin thread.

Yes, but the coins on other forks will be worthless and not transferable to the right fork / new client Wink

2gb system ram. It's not ram, the problem is your OS and setup. These 7950's later passed 520kh

Now if there were some accepted as well it might be useful.
Doesn't matter what hash you have if everything is rejected.
520K with one 7950, I don't believe that is possible. Would like to be proved wrong though.

I vote for the darkcoin algo. Cards run 30% cooler. Much more GPU friendly than n-script.

No! It's not the fault of scrypt-n!

Maybe not, but using vertminer is a pain in the ass. I can't use CGWatcher with it and I cannot control my miners remotely.

CGWatcher works with Vertminer just fine for me.

C'mon guys ScryptN is your salvation! My 7950's were cracking to 550kh with it

WTF are you running them at 2 GHz? Grin
Seriously that is at least 50% more than I have ever seen on a 7950

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=469887.msg5470068#msg5470068

That's what I started out at. I can do a screenshot of the 500+ if you'd like. Nicely advanced 7950 setup. You should've seen the 280X hashrates lol.

Are you sure your cards provide valid work? I have yet to see even a 290X at 500+...

They clearly are all rejects in the pic. It's not producing valid work and certainly not at 500+ like he claims. He probably is using the 0.5.4pre2 miner and has --scrypt instead of --nscrypt in the config

You guys are retards. That was on pool.mn's reject testnet, from page 30 or so. EVERYONE was getting rejected work because it was TEST.

Yes, my rigs produce legit work. I earn btc every 3 days or so. My 7950's push past 720 on Scrypt, and my 270's push past 500kh on Scrypt. I can point you to any number of developers, poool operators, etc, who can vouch.
