Yeah,  that's a bit discouraging..

Anyways, so that means current valuation is 0.000004 BTC per coin at pre IPO prices.

During each round A, B, ...., G get "shifted" right.  After 8 rounds the bits in A have been through the compression function 8 more times than those in H.

Still no. As you can see, A is S[0] in the code in round one and in round two it gets the same treatment as B in round one.

No "still no". Smiley

After round 7 S[0] has been mixed with 9 previous RND outputs, each of which has been derived from prior RNG outputs.  Meanwhile, S[7] has only been mixed with 4 previous RND outputs that were directly dirived from the initial state (non random).  So, to say that S[0] has more than twice as much mixing as S[7] is an gross understatement.

Let's simplify the notation and account for what's changed in each of the calls in your code snippet.

Sx:# means S[ x ] is in initial state (not random)
Sx:y denotes S[ x ] has been mixed y times with previous RND outputs (not initial state)

Round   State
0       S0:# S1:# S2:# S3:0 S4:# S5:# S6:# S7:0
1       S0:# S1:# S2:1 S3:0 S4:# S5:# S6:2 S7:0
2       S0:# S1:2 S2:1 S3:0 S4:# S5:4 S6:2 S7:0
3       S0:3 S1:2 S2:1 S3:0 S4:6 S5:4 S6:2 S7:0

So, already S[0] has been mixed with 3 previous round function outputs, while S[7] has been mixed with only initial state (completely non-random).

Round   State
4       S0:3 S1:2 S2:1 S3:6 S4:6  S5:4 S6:2 S7:4
5       S0:3 S1:2 S2:7 S3:6 S4:6  S5:4 S6:6 S7:4
6       S0:3 S1:8 S2:1 S3:6 S4:6  S5:8 S6:6 S7:4
7       S0:9 S1:9 S2:1 S3:6 S4:10 S5:8 S6:6 S7:4

Thus, after round 7, S[0] has been mixed by 9 previous round function outputs, while S[7] has only been mixed with 4.  That is more than twice as much mixing, but it is actually even more when you consider that many of those previous round function outputs were themselves obtained by earlier round function outputs.

You can't argue with maths.

you need independent escrow for the IPO

I'm open to this idea.  I'll speak to Nomisugi tomorrow and make a decision.  Maybe a senior forum member or do you have another suggestion?

I'd suggest Anon136 from my side but any independent and trusted senior forum member should be fine. Thank you!

Nomisugi and I have discussed this and we'll be looking into possible escrow services.

hi keccark512,

Seem like potential coin with good team and passion. I'd like to invest into IPO phase, just some concern that need some information from you.

That's totally understandable.

Is there any public profile of devs, or team or even you, because i need those guys can be trusted just incase.
And we know who you guys are, where' you from...blah...blahh...

We are anonymous, but there is a public profile is under the developers section here

http://heavycoin.github.io/community.html

I also posted a bit of info about us here.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=470391.msg5198949#msg5198949

One more last question, that is about the IPO invest, how do we know how many ppl are investing to IPO phase, so how do we know the share percentage?

You can see how much Bitcoin has been invested by viewing the official announcement post on the front page of this thread (we will try to keep it up to date).

For real-time updates you can visit this link

https://blockchain.info/address/19VzBYvffPj4JcJM6ieNBXLEY9dJBQ2oXa

Could we make the IPO invest more transparent or summary on OP?

I think the above should give you the transparent summary you would like, but if there's anything we've left out, then please let us know.

If you're seriously want to making business with this coin, i think those information would be great for me to know.
So, waiting on your information.

We are very committed and that's why we have invested so much development time into Heavycoin.  We are all tired of copy and paste coins, so we wanted to rise up to the challenge and try something new.

Coin seems interesting, but why do you want to be anonymous? As an potential investor, this kind of behaviour rises a red flag.

Also, why didn't you post the IPO on CryptoStocks?

Coin seems interesting, but why do you want to be anonymous? As an potential investor, this kind of behaviour rises a red flag.

Probably for the same reason as Satoshi.  A huge part of the crypto-currency movement is about anonymity.  We value our anonymity more than the potential capital we could raise in the IPO.  Also, from a business perspective, revealing our identities opens up a huge can of worms and risks that would slow down the project, such as incorporating, lawyers, accounting etc.

We have already observed such slowdowns in projects like Ethereum, which has still not opened their IPO AFAIK due to complications in gaining compliance (as they are not anonymous).  We beleive Heavycoin should launch anonymously and then later, when things are more developed, we have the strategic option of either incorporate publically or anonymously as a DAC.  However, our current plan is to continue in the direction of becoming an anonymous open source foundation.

We understand this will be a point of concern for IPO investors, but the IPO is only one part of the project and there is still huge possiblity for obtaining a stake through bounties and mining.

Also, why didn't you post the IPO on CryptoStocks?

Time.  We will post there soon.

I agree. No one confident enough that "throw" 20btc to a new coin when they dont know who is the dev, how is the coin at this early day even this coin is very HOT, very well-known. I definitely dont do that much at this time. DEVs please find another way that reasonable to PR the coin. I am interested in this coin but need more senses...

On the other hand, truckythin could be the same persion who sent the 20btc (ymer) trying to scare off competition.  He has already made posts to the forum to this effect:

Amount sent: 0.2 BTC

New user posting on a IPO.

Screw this Pre-SCAM

There's nothing we can do about this, so you have to decide.

We would have nothing to gain by buying up our own IPO.  Doing so would be to undermine it.   Moreover, we have already set aside a fair amount of funds with our premine.

Heavycoin will launch on March 8th 12:00 UTC.  Those who invested in the IPO will already have a stake.  Those who did not invest won't.  Some will celebrate.  Others will cry that it was not fair.  Smart people will start mining and claiming bounties instead.

Before then, various interested parties will post FUD to this thread for their own intentions and gain.

We're not bothered.  It is always the same.

hahah lol the story that you're telling me is exactly what you plan to do with this coin.
I can write down in some quick sentences like this:

- I'm a dev of what ever garbage coin.
- Im going to release a brand new coin with brand new algo (well, actually combinition of ton existing algos lol, plus a protection called HUF... something)
- I'm want to get ppl attention like MAX and even RIE but i dont have a big daddy like Max Kaiser, the IPO is solution to get money from investors.
- So i borrow all my friends to have 20 BTC, then i invest them all to 5.000.000 pre-mine coin. Actually, i will not lose any thing from 20 BTC because the IPO address is my BTC address lol lol.
- After very big official, fair launch, i have almost 5.000.000 pre-mined HVC but ppl cannot yelling/complaining that this is pre-mined coin, it's an IPO, not pre-mine.
- Now i can pay 1.000.000 to any big exchange to get HVC on board.
- Finally, when ppl are still mining very hard, diff is kind of skyrocket day by, i'm very easily dump my 5.000.000 HVC to get the profit (note that, before that, i have return back 20 BTC to all my friends, i dont have to pay any single shatoshi). As my estimation, after slowly dump out all 5.000.000 HVC i cannt get back 20-50 BTC. Note that, this dumpping must be very very slowly, may be 1-2 BTC a day to keep price stable and keep miners trusting on mining profit lol  Grin

Exactly my point, the coin offers nothing over the other cpu coins out there, amazon instances and botnets will suck up what is left after the ipo. That distribution fail right there spells the swift exit of this coin.
