just a question: I visited the link provided by the thread below and it showed a deceptive site(I took a screenshot for evidence) and we can clearly show that the URL is different from the posted from the thread. but after visiting the link provided by the OP again. the site seems fine and shows me this(quoted below). I just noticed something weird with one new Ann thread in altcoin section, Bubblegum Coin. Thread was created less than 1 hour ago, it had only few views, and then suddenly went to 500+ views. It is self-moderated thread, and on top of that, brand new newbie accounts already started shilling it. 📌[ANN]🔥 Bubblegum Coin - Your anonymous coin with absolutely anoniny wallet ✅ Archive So my question is, are there are some scripts/bots or something similar that boosts number of views to appear that people are actually interested? |

I'll keep an eye on that one Yeah, something dodgy is going on there, and they keep making new accounts and commenting there. It might be case of malware spreading via their telegram channel bot, i reported it too. |

They might not bring it to the top but for sure create a fake volume of posts. This is anohter issue that can fool the people and that is why important to report posts there. Maybe on the gaming board can also be implemented the new bumping rule. |

Problem with this is that they will start shilling and get attention then someone not related to them might leave comment, and bump it. Bubblegum Coin thread didn't reach top, but they are at the moment at the first page on the board, and that's bad enough. That means their shilling is working. I reported those posts, hopefully they will be deleted soon. |

I reported those posts, hopefully they will be deleted soon. Yes, I completely agree with you. I usually report such posts whenever I see them. Those posts cause some newbies to think that the project is reputable and trustworthy. That's why this kind of pumping is still helpful for them and they continue to hire people to make posts in their threads. I just meant that what is going on in that thread on gambling board is even worse than that. (Because of bumping rules). Those posts make fake volume and at the same time make the thread more visible at top of the board. The new bumping system implemented by theymos in some boards causes the problem to be less severe. But as you said there is still a big problem with fake volume in those boards. There are still bumping services active in those threads. |

True, maybe that bumping system should be extended on few other boards as well that has similar issues. I mean, it is obvious to experienced users that all those conversations are fake, but some new inexperienced user might fall for it. And they probably do. |

I see the threads are deleted now (almost all of them). Did you report them? We can't do more than just report them. Sometimes those who post in spammy threads don't realize that if the thread gets removed, they loose all their precious posts So if you give the spammer s bit more time with the thread and then report it, those who posted there might learn their lesson when the thread gets trashed. |

I have a question regarding OP practice in recently created [ANN][AAB] AAX - The World’s First Digital Asset Exchange by LSEG Technology. Regarding sock puppets, so far i identified 9 newbie accounts that have few things in common (majority of them joined their bounty campaign too) and are showing standard m.o. of thread bumping with their fake conversations - Accounts are made between July 3rd and July 15th 2019
- Inactive since 2019 and then suddenly waking up when AAX appeared
- Since waking up they are writing exclusively in AAX ANN
