But even he only posts like every 2-3 months. Sigh!

Monthly actually, but you're always welcome to reach out to me at any time  Grin

Speaking of which, here's my update for the month of December: https://litecointalk.io/t/mimblewimble-progress-update-thread/26678/8

The TL;DR is:

* The design has been published at https://litecointalk.io/t/mimblewimble-design-libmw/26915 (feedback welcome)

* The code is being written https://github.com/GrinPlusPlus/libmw-core and https://github.com/GrinPlusPlus/libmw-ltc

* Next month I will setup a build system, design a new fast-sync mechanism, and work on the database code

Thanks everyone for your continued support!

Post on this thread then each month. Also, get the other Litecoin devs to frigging post on what they are working on...I assume devs cand do more than one fix

or update at a time besides just following bitcoin core on their updates. Again, IMHO, Mimblewimble is a start to 'differentiate" Litecoin from Bitcoin and other altcoins

But really, really, you have to pick up the pace and keep up with the PR. I mean I'm a frigging moderator on www.litecointalk.io for crying out loud! And even I'm

beyond frustrated with Litecoin direction and development. Convince me otherwise.

Litecoin devs already ran away ... now no one is taking care of Litecoin , no back-end platform.. soon Litecoin will be $1 .. so sell all now and buy Bitcoin folks  Undecided

I don't know exactly what happened, according to the title of the article above it only said "The Silver to Bitcoin" in my opinion it's only natural that we know that LTC is the silver version of BTC and everyone would know it since a few years ago.

What about  BlockFi that added Litecoin to it lending service? It seems to be in contradiction with  your view

I think that this coin is really asic resistent. The hashrate is tragically dumped and the same for the difficulty. Somebody talk of the end, same they talk about the end of btc but, in the crypto time, three coins have signed the story: Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin.

ASIC resistance has always been a bit of a joke. I remember chuckling over the hype back in 2014 or 2015.  Cheesy

Yup. This has been obvious since the beginning.

Bitcoin is the first monetary system to credibly offer perfect information to all economic participants.

Remember kids, ASIC resistance does not equal ASIC proof. Wink

And we all know resistance is futile...

Scrypt WAS ASIC resistant, but only until 2014. Whoever was into that hype in 2014/2015 was just plain ignorant...

ASIC resistant: It's hard/expensive to make an ASIC. But when it becomes profitable enough, someone will make an ASIC.

ASIC proof: It's impossible/futile. The only way to make it so, is to change the algo every now and then, like Monero does. That way, if anyone makes an ASIC, you change the algo and the hardware becomes obsolete.

You can mine Litecoin at autoexchange mining pool Zergpool.com at 0.5% fee. Please use following commands for different mining options

Option 1 Auto coin switch mining by profitability within algorithm with autoexchange to specified coin wallet(BTC in example below)
Code:
  -o stratum+tcp://scrypt.mine.zergpool.com:3433 -u <YOURBTCWALLET> -p c=BTC

Option 2 Direct coin mining with payout to coin wallet
Code:
  -o stratum+tcp://scrypt.mine.zergpool.com:3433 -u <YOURLTCWALLET> -p c=LTC,mc=LTC

Option 3 Direct coin mining with autoexchange to specified coin wallet(BTC in example below)
Code:
  -o stratum+tcp://scrypt.mine.zergpool.com:3433 -u <YOURBTCWALLET> -p c=BTC,mc=LTC

Please note mc stands for mining coin symbol, c stand for payout coin symbol

Autoexchange to BTC, LTC, DASH, BCH, DOGE or any other currency we mine
 Happy mining,

Was just back in summer where it was $140 USD/LTC. It all depends on bitcoin.

To be sure, when bitcoin halving arrives, that's when there will be changes in prices that are not fair to all alts including LTC, I think it will be more than $100, but it could be past that price. It's just a prediction and the graph still doesn't necessarily change.
