All rooting for LTC

Best coin there is, just unfortunately without marketing.
Lots of people, a trader community, which is tuned to profits. A tooling approach into the mayor Payment Gateways like Stripe, Klarna and a little better marketing and it should do the trick.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Litecoin has lightning?

Yes, Litecoin does indeed have lightning. In fact, Litecoin was first before Bitcoin to prove that Lightning was not only theoretically possible, but literally possible as well.

That's true, but literally nobody is using it, it seems basically dead.
I had a lightning node for about 1 year and more than 10 channels, after that year 2 channels were left and I never routed a single transaction.
For it to come to life, the onchain fees fiat equivalent would need to be much higher (simply put: LTC needs to cost hundreds of USD first). Right now there is no need/incentive for lightning in LTC compared to onchain txs.

Just like Litecoin Discord. Joke aside, when the Founder left and sold his coins that was it in my opinion. Trust was broken, hard to come from that and there is ETH which was pumped due to contracts/tokens/mining wars etc.. not to mention others likes of Solana. LTC is in a pinch.

Litecoin is one of the most durable cryptocurrencies in the current era of decentralized finance. The coin has been in circulation for 11 years. Litecoin’s managing director recently spoke about the token’s utility as a trusted payment method.

I agree with your opinion, but I also believe that if it were more widespread and used, it might have some positive impact on the growth of the currency and the LTC ecosystem.

I've quite the opposing view, even if I'm more a "Bitcoiner" than a "Litecoiner": when Charlie Lee sold his coins, I began to take LTC more seriously. Exactly because of the trust issue - in a cryptocurrency there should be never a single person you have to "trust".

Bitcoin has still the problem that nobody knows what will happen with Satoshi's coins. Many are worried about that - I'm not so much, because anyway if they're sold that will send down the price only for the short term, on the long term it should be strengthened. But anyway, LTC has already survived this stage - this can be seen as an advantage.

I haven't signed up yet and from what I understand you need to sign up and convert at least $40 into crypto through their service.

This tweet is more recent and says exactly this: https://twitter.com/gethedgecrypto/status/1576966515001204736

Litecoin’s MWEB on Your Mobile Phone Is Nearly Just a Click Away

As mobile wallets begin to adopt MWEB, the number of Litecoins on MWEB is expected to increase drastically. As a natural progression, an important goal would be for businesses that’d benefit from MWEB’s features to consider its integration, achieving increased protection of their users (and their own) data while storing and transacting Litecoin. As MWEB infrastructure continues to be built out, the next step will be adoption and mass integration, which will come as more people make use of MWEB’s benefits.

Only for US citizens so far I understood.
That exludes some millions of users, not so nice though.
