Litecoin price broke the $230-240 resistance against the US Dollar. At the moment, buyers are attempting a close above the $250 resistance and the 50% Fib retracement level of the last drop from the $280 swing high to $200 swing low. Once they succeed, the price could move towards the last high near $283.Above the $283 high, litecoin price could accelerate above the $300 level. Any further upsides depend on how the price builds above $230 during the coming sessions.

A good analysis, seems like the market is waking up after two weeks of hibernation. I am a bit worried about LTC stability though - now with XRP peak and its race with ETH, it seems that LTC (together with its big brother BTC) remains a bit static at the moment.

May be LTC is already waiting for the recovery of BTC. This is good time to buy LTC, no time to worry.

Hello Litecoin community ---

Litecoin is available for atomic swap trading on Komodo Platform's decentralized exchange, BarterDEX! Right NOW, peer2peer, on Mainnet with live orderbooks. Anyone can test it out if you'd like. We are taking privacy to new heights by keeping your funds and privkeys in YOUR HANDS! zK-SNARK coin Jumblr in YOUR HANDS! Liquidity of each coin is still building, but BarterDEX can pair your coin with any other of the 80+ coins on the exchange. If a team member, perhaps someone from marketing, would like to test out an atomic swap through our GUI, please send me a DM : ) We have a team availabe for walking leaders of featured coins through the Komodo ecosystem to teach you how your community can benefit from BarterDEX!

This is truly a community project - the keys are now in your hands! YOU (literally anyone) can be a marketmaker for your coin, making it available to BarterDEX users around the globe. YOU can create a SPV electrum server, allowing BarterDEX users to manage and trade your coin without downloading the entire blockchain. It would be nice to have your coin paired with KMD on a dedicated Liquidity Provider node, allowing users to trade between the two 24/7 - then we could introduce it to the community as having liquidity in BarterDEX! We would be happy to assist you with setting these up. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Welcome to the BarterDEX decentralized exchange!

Trade freely and safely,
Jay

Yes, I agree with you. But look at the BTC price today, it has been come back the base of 15.000$. Meanwhile LTC price seem to prepare to boom. ^^

It seems like when Bitcoin drops, the price of Litecoin goes up due to the quicker transaction times. People are getting frustrated with the delay of BTC transaction times and the higher fees for small amounts.

litecoin is done. The creator of litecoin sold all his coin and 'left'.
Today when BTC rose 15%, LTC stayed same.
its very unusual as LTC is heavily tethered to BTC.

Man.. Charlie sold his coins (or at least this is what he stated) but he mentioned that he won't leave. And about the price.. LTC was steady at 3-4$ for more than 1 year before he started to climb.

Yeah, nobody knows what actually mr. Lee did, maybe it was just a speculation. In any-case, he is still supposed to be actively working on the project.
I am afraid that, indeed LTC broke the BTC dependency and doesn't show any upward trend while BTC does. But maybe this is only today, let's wait and see.

He didn't dump his coins, over a matter of weeks he Donated and sold them so he couldn't be accused of Price manipulation. He didn't leave the project he continues to work diligently on it.

I made a comment earlier and had a moment of enlightenment. The walls that are put up on the exchanges are definitely manipulators in the market. Big financial institutions have realized they can not kill cryptocurrency through fear by dropping the value of the currency. Too many users are holding seeking a change in the financial system. They are hoping that they can kill the will of the users.

Big banks and financial institutions do not want to actually invest in the currency. They would no longer be in control; they do not want a fair playing field. They keep and control their wealth through the power they wield.

From now on, I will only invest in change. I will not sell a currency that continues this vision.
Half  agree with that. Half  because XRP  secured over 100 Banks already and 30 more will join in 1Q 2018 to utilize cross-border transactions. Stellar in cooperation with IBM  is moving the same path right now.  As to LTC you are right, no banks will adopt it.

I agree with that 100%
More like a manipulation and collusion. Especially now, when there is no stability and even if he sneezes, in any case, it will affect the cost. And now the question. If so, why even talk about it publicly?

Greetings Gentlemen! Could anyone advise original Litecoin Android wallet or any good time-tested wallet? All links from Litecoin web pages lead to nonexistent files (((

Indeed there is not any "original" Litecoin wallet on Google Play, but you may try the Litecoin wallet from freewallet.org ! I'm using ETH wallet from freewallet.org and it works pretty good, you may givit a try !
