I mistakenly sent LTC to BTC address is there anything the LTC devs can do with this wrong transactions? Will it be rejected by the LTC blockchain because the transaction is erroneous? Please help... here's the TXID: ca46709a5ebc97d932423c41da78b4b047e43bff5e0e426d041cf5dfd6db9f85

But there is a chance to get the coins back if you are the owner of the BTC wallet. If you have access to the private keys of the BTC address, then you can generally create the same private key for a LTC wallet and access your LTC. The procedure is different depending on what that BTC address is (HW wallet, desktop wallet, exchange address, ...). Google has many answers If you don't own the BTC address, consider this an expensive lesson, sorry...

I'm sure you were trying to make a point with this statement, but somehow forgot to actually write it down. Care to enlighten me?

Maybe the devs can create a program that if ever LTC will be sent to any other BTC/altcoin addresses (erroneous transaction) it will automatically comes back to the sender's wallet.

They did provide a solution. It's called an M type address. It helps differentiate between LTC and BTC multisig addresses. What you are talking about is not going to happen. It violates the basic principles of Litecoin. There is no Undo. It's kind of the whole point...

All other big coins have already rise significantly in last 2 days, so it won't take long before LTC will pump as well

If this the case so the total supply of LTC will be lessen every time erroneous transaction like this will happened.

Anyone having trouble with the daemon stopping? I run a few of them at home so I can look at the block-chains - which also means I modify it a bit: I add 2 getblock functions.

im crying just to see the posts from 2011 when legendary arguing each other for this coin. man... its only takes 6 years for becoming billionaire. I wish im here earlier There are still many opportunities here, many ICO that have been launched I think we just need to invest on some good project then hold. I prefer like to buy coin rather than token. Litecoin is one of my favorite coin beside Bitcoin, Ethereum and Dash.

I hope that Lightcoin will return to its historical highs faster than other coins, because it is an independent and strong coin

Of course this change in plan by joining TenX and Korbit which replace the need of litepay. Litcoin is gradually keep climbing upwards and consecutively updates are being released to keep the momentum up. LTC can jump two ranks from here on marketcap in coming months with all the stuff being developed.

Does litecoin support Segwit addresses? I'm using the nano ledger to store mine and I tried sending some from an exchange to my ledger litecoin segwit address but it wouldn't because it was an unrecognised format. Can anyone help?

Yep, Litecoin support Segwit address fully and also lightning network. In fact, Segwit was tested on LTC first and then on BTC network. This is response for your first question whereas support for ledger hardware wallet that I don't have any knowledge as didn't use that. I saw there was some balance showing problem with ledger wallet couple of days ago. Current status I don't know yet.

Litecoin this coin has been following BTC's great route, so if BTC is soaring, LTC can still lie in ambush before it pulls up.

Anyone know of how LTC's 'scaling down of fees" is going to work in comparison to bitcoin cash hard fork and such? Supposedly, from the BCH hype (dubious) it costs less for fees with BCH now then LTC, but I thought that LTC was going to have an update to also further knock their fees down quite a bit? Anyone here want to catch me up on this warfare of fees? thanks brad

Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

I assume this is BCH hype...until such point as the above is put in completely for the LTC modifications for less fees? ie BCH is jumping on this 'temporary' situation? (I should look myself, but always get lost in the weeds on this kinda thing...so figured I'd punt again)
