As we all know that smartphones are just like computer nowadays that has strong storage capacity and processor. This I think could be enable to mine bitcoin and this is what I am waiting for if there are any smartphones company that would offer their smartphones for bitcoin mining or even as a smartphone that works as digital hardware wallet for bitcoin and other crypto. I am waiting for it to happen. Do you think that it will happen?
I am open to the continuous improvement of technology but I believe that would be too much for a mobile phone to be capable of mining. It would be costly and you cannot maximize the other features of your phone because you are after with mining.

And, have you read the results? That mining rig is doing 20 000 Khash, or 20 Mhash. The S9 is reaching 14 Thash...about 600 000 times more than 40 Samsung phones. And think of the power, your usual power bank with 10 000Mah would be able to deliver 12Wh, that's Wh, not kWH. That was just a publicity stunt, nothing more, the phones will never mine enough to pay even one charge.

It is ridiculous to even think about smartphones being used for Bitcoin mining. Your smartphone may get fried in one month's time and by then you may earn about $0.01 from the mining routine.
Its a vain effort if people want to find a way to mine with smartphone. It doesnt have any advantage against pc. And also even with pc it will be a lot better if you maximize the perfomance for mining and dont use it for anything else. So what about smartphone? is there a single thought that could be the reason to mine with it?

It is true that smartphones are just like computers nowadays, that is why smartphones is really helpful in every lives like inside of school or at work. But i think it will be impossible that smartphones can be used in bitcoin mining because you need a strong or good performance for you to mine and it should be running 24/7, which smartphones cannot do such things. Maybe one day people will think of another way for you to able to mine using only your smartphones.

In my own point of view, phones nowadays are really like super computers that you can do whatever you want with just using your smartphones, but still smartphones are not suitable to used it for bitcoin mining because in mining there are certain performance and specs for you to mine and smartphones cannot handle it.

Not going to happen even the best smartphones are very underpowered compared to the best computer that money can buy, besides now you cannot mine bitcoin with a regular computer you need specialized hardware designed only to mine bitcoin and even with that hardware you still need a cheap source of electricity to be profitable at all, so I do not think your dreams of using your smartphone to mine bitcoin is going to become a reality in the near future.

Most likely never. Mining consumes much more electricity than a smartphone can provide. You can't change the laws of physics. At the moment the energy needed to mine is counted in thousands of Watts, so even if you made a super processor able to do that by consuming 10% of that it would still be much more than a phone battery can provide. Not to mention that mining generates heat and phones aren't capable of dissipating it well.

Mate, I think many have already used smartphones for mining. In fact, there has been this news before that a group of people from India, I think, have used some mid-range smartphones in mining, and the results are astonishing as the method of using smartphones proved to be more cost effective and power effective than using computer rigs. Also, since the device is cheaper than the common mining rigs used, they were able to set-up more of them.

Unfortunately mining is a resource intensive operation, requiring constant upgrades to mining equipment, a luxury that many miners can't afford. It becomes a Rich man's game after a while. Only those with the proper resources end up coming out on top!

I think that would be hard and quite impossible to happen now. There are lots of things to consider and smartphones nowadays are not enough to sustain the capasity needed to earn and do mining. I believe that time would still come that smartphones would be capable of mining too.

You will only destroy your smartphone, if you use it to mine bitcoin. Bitcoin mining requires sophisticated and heat-resistant devices that are operated for 24 hours non-stop, if you do it to your smartphone, your smartphone will explode. BOOMM

Well yeah, but atleast it was already proven that mobile phones can also mine bitcoins, it may be not much but still can be be usable. I just did answer his false statement regarding the possibilities of using mobile phones for being a mining rigs

I can see some apps in smartphone that lets you mine crypto however I don't believe on it l, I just think that it is a program that soon can use to get information that is saved in my mobile phone.I also believe that you can use smartphone as a mining equipment to mine crypto but it won't give you the hask needed to mine a single block.

Bitcoin mining needs faster processor which smartphone do not have even most of smartphone can be used as computer. Smartphone also is capable to enter by many sites where can easily to be hacked. Though there are some mining in smartphone, it is not like when you work on good processor with computer. Maybe when there is fast processor created for smartphone or develop a mining sites that are capable for the smartphone only.

It won't happen.
Smartphone for bitcoin mining? you are just destroying your phone.
Smartphone as digital wallet, you can simply download an app / wallet and that's how you make it as your wallet.
You never know! With the help of nano technology we may be able to achieve smaller chips that produces as much power as a full sized mining rigs in future. I mean that is not the reality now but it may become in future. If you were 80's kid, did you ever think that you can carry a computer in your pocket? Because what computer we have seen that time was Pentium one and it required an air conditioned room to run that. Nano technology achieved that impossible and now we carry a smart phone inside our pocket. So keep your hope high as we don't know where the technological achievements can take us! But still not profitable if the level of mining difficulty is increased, the phone wasn’t created for that and the mining rig should is also developing and professional miners should prefer to use a special tool rather than sacrificing their phone.

very very unlikely to happen in my personal opinion. Because smartphone devices cannot do that yet. Indeed technology in the smartphone world so perfect. In terms of hardware alone is remote. Because one rig is heavy and to mine requires a very fast processor. I've tried to mine in minergate on my phone that's been very heavy with the state of my new smartphone buy and specifications are above average. So the smartphone is only for wallet and monitors only.
