This depends on your resources, capabilities and goals. If you have availability of continuous supply of cheap electricity, considerable amount of investment, no interest in technical charts and analysis, then go for mining. But if you don’t have these, are willing to spend long hours for understanding and researching the the market fully, and willing to take risks, and then go for trading.

well, those two things certainly have their own advantages and disadvantages. But, most people don't want to be bothered, so trading is a choice that most of them have chosen to date, and I think that is a natural thing.

I think if mining with limited mining tools will only make you lose because the return we will get will be difficult to cover the capital we spend

Mining is a very complex and expensive process, it requires knowledge of computer technology. Trade is more open, it is much easier to adapt to a beginner

of course I would choose to do mining because with mining I can get bitcoin and some other cryptocurrency without having to buy and without fear if the price falls.

it seems I prefer to trade and grow assets that I have by trading because with trading I don't really think about the condition of mining which is very difficult to maintain.

There have already been a lot of good responses before mine, so I'll keep it short. At this point, you need a large sum of money to invest in equipment, a large amount of time to learn how to properly handle it, and patience when market price goes down and difficulty up. All that for mining bitcoins.
However, trading is a risky business but comes with a lot less painful losses if you want to quit. You control the amount you wish to use when investing in coins and can set up strategies limiting your bad orders. So, I would wholeheartedly advise trading at this point. Read about how to trade bitcoins in this guide to get a feel for what you should learn and how https://www.cryptocointrade.com.

I did mining since december 2017 and it was hardly profitable up until now, the difficulty levels are too high and prices too low.

Lost a lot of money mining. One on a mining scam which shut down without payouts and one being Hashflare.....

For trading.....I personally use the orderbook on very high volume coins to try and tell where the next swing is going to be (up or down). I learned it here: Voodoo Crypto Discord for those interested.

Let me know what you all do and your successes.

Just had a chat with my friend on setting up mining in my farm house. He advised and suggested more to invest in crypto currencies then investing and spending time in mining. What you guys would suggest me of. Or shall i start with small investment on mining from house with rigs attached to system i have in my house and start a farm house once experienced or do not get into mining? Suggest me dudes.

Actualy booth of this are good investment into the worlds of cryptocurrency but i much preferable to choose the investment trading than mining, because my resources are not capable to goes into the mining crypto investment, because you much spend more gadgets or rigs in order to create a mining capabilities, unlike investment only you needs a capital to invest and a strategy on how to make a good investor .

Mining is not very profitable at the moment as the difficulty increased dramatically without a corresponding increase in the price of coins, maybe it will be when we enter another bull run, I prefer mining , trading is for expert hands ,else you will trade to lose money

Currently crypto mining has been saturated due to too many investors involved in the mining of coins, but now the value of the coin type has fallen sharply and the difficulty is very large. I think the crypto miner was not as efficient as before so the investment in cryptocurrency is better in the moment.

Glad someone knows. For now, Mining is only profitable for big organizations with large mining farms. People with small mining rigs have struggled to make profit after cutting off the mining expenses. You're better off trading. Even if the market is bearish now, those profits are better than mining.

I prefer to mine, if we mine we just wait for our profit, even if we trade with the long term, if we trade we need a lot of capital, develop it if we want a lot of profits.

Nice set of trades you made there! I suck at trading so tend to stick to the long-term hodling / investing mindset, which has worked out fairly well for me. When I try short term trading, I tend to sell too soon or set stops which often get taken out, only to have the coin bounce back a bit later. Kudos to you for being able to surf the waves!

If you want to do mining then you have to spend a lot of money to buy mining hardware. Trading would be better, as you can start with a small amount of money.

For me, i always go with trading because everything depends on research and patience with the trading but whereas through mining we always need to spend a lot of money for improving mining hardware in order to decrease the difficulty level. So with trading with very less amount of money compared to trading.

Not all the time fella

you might be mining at a loss if you do that today and have no cheap electricity

You don't actually need a lot of capital to do trading

a single mining bitcoin mining ASIC machine would cost around 499 bucks + shipping + operations cost, Electric, internet

compare it to a 500$ initial capital on trading with no operations cost and maintenance headache.
