Photon I think is at an all time high .....
"difficulty" : 52316.87772553, "errors" : "", "generate" : false, "genproclimit" : -1, "hashespersec" : 0, "networkhashps" : 753670307440,
Merged mining with the family of Blake Coin is certainly the key to the future.

I'm mining on a r9 290 and my intensity is set to 13. My memclock seems to be at 150 instead of 1247, is this because of the low intensity? I'm not familiar with blake algo but the pool said you should set your intensity low. I'm using the cgminer 3.1 as the more recent one would not work. What hashrate should I expect from a 290? The U is also much lower than the hashrate.

I suggest you check the Blake Coin thread as the discussion is much more active there on settings for different gpu's ect.... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=306894.0;topicseennear the bottom of the thread i think some people are discussing different setups on different 'rigs' hope this helps you out and thanks for your support of the Blake 256 family I'm mining on a r9 290 and my intensity is set to 13. this screen shot is fake the build of cg miner you claim to be using will not allow intensity of 16 even if you built it from source (which i doubt as it is difficult and someone who knows how to do that could tune the gpu easily) this is not possible I'm mining on a r9 290 and my intensity is set to 13. I am running two r9 290's and one r9 270x. I also get the oddly reported memclock as you do. The 290's are doing ~3.15 each per below; My settings are; { "blake256" : true, "kernel-path" : "/", "scan-time" : "1", "expiry" : "120", "log" : "5", "failover-only" : true,
"pools" : [ { <SNIP>...} ],

Mining Rig Rentals is the first (to my knowledge) rig rental site to support Blake-256! Renters:- Make rental choices based on "actual" hash rate. Their system tracks the past 24 hour hash rate with a moving average.
- Backup pools! Have you ever found yourself trying to be ready for a coin launch only to find out your first pool choice isn't up and running? Their system takes care of that, by letting you set up 5 pools in a fail over.
- Backup pools! Have you ever found yourself trying to be ready for a coin launch only to find out your first pool choice isn't up and running? Their system takes care of that, by letting you set up 5 pools in a fail over.
Rig owners:- Website pool manager. Their system allows you to change what pool your miner is connected to right from the website. Allows 5 pools to be configured with fail over.
- Hash rate graphs!
- Algorithm choices include: Scrypt, Scrypt-N, x11, SHA-256, SHA3, and now Blake-256!
- There is no fee to use the site/service for the miner controls or hash rate graphs. You never have to list your rig for rent if you don't want to.
Not sure about the whole "renting thing?" No problem, it's 100% free to list your rig with their service and the backup pools/hashrate graphs are completely on the house. If you decide to try leasing your rig in the future, you will already be setup. They have lots of website/interface improvements in the pipeline, with a very active development team. ok , custom build perhaps, the miner i use to solo mine blake coins can have higher intensity not the one i am aware of that mines on the pool, reaper actually works better for me solo, I was just curious how you got intensity 16 If you built the miner yourself I guess you answered my question. this screen shot is fake
the build of cg miner you claim to be using will not allow intensity of 16
even if you built it from source (which i doubt as it is difficult and someone who knows how to do that could tune the gpu easily) this is not possible
Whoaa... Where did that come from? That absolutely isn't a fake screenshot, I will happily host my screen for you and show you. I didn't claim to be using any version, I posted a screenshot because I was trying to be helpful in the spirit of contributing to a community I wanted to be part of. Why on earth would I post a fake screenshot, what could I possibly gain from doing that? There is a version of source on Github which allows for a higher intensity setting for Blake. I know BlueDragon says intensity should be lower but I've found these are the best settings for the version of CGMiner that I compiled. Whether or not it's actually reporting correctly I don't know, I have to confess C++ is one language I never worked with so I didn't study the code, I just compiled it. If I can remember / find the link for the source from I'll post it for you. If I'm guilty of anything it's not saying that this was not the regular CGMiner build for Blake but that was an honest mistake. I'm quite offended to be honest, I have nothing but good things to say about the Blake256 ecosystem and ALL the coins within it, I still like it despite this accusation that I faked the screen shot. I think merged mining Blake256 has a very bright future ahead of it but it seems the community isn't as inclusive as I thought it was and that I'm not welcome here. I get the message and other than to link the source if I can find it again, I won't post here or in any of the other Blake256 threads again if I'm not wanted,. But as I said, I will happily host a screen to show you it running. Good luck with Photon, and good luck to the rest of the Blake256 family. EDIT: I *think* I may have taken the Blake256 CGMiner source and made changes based on those I found in another branch of CGMiner which allows a higher intensity setting. It definitely at least reports a difference, lowering one of my cards to 11 I get the below. You made references yourself to trying intensity at 16 in a thread on CryptoCoinTalk entitled "If you want to mine Blake Coin with a GPU here is some information" so your response above puzzles me even more.

The op is updated ---------- Mine 5 coins at the same time --------------- Also all pools are working despite the fact that they have been the subject of many ddos attacks and other types of attack. To the person above having a problem setting up a wallet please make sure you are using the most recent release available here http://www.mediafire.com/download/4x9l018sgux08ez/photon+win+qt+8.9.1.1+upnp+enabled+.release.7zset up your conf file properly listen=1 gen=0 rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 rpcuser=username rpcpassword=password rpcallowip=localhost rpcport=8984 port=35556 gen=0 server=1 daemon=1 listen=1 addnode=162.243.101.139 addnode=72.23.74.166 addnode=62.219.234.143 addnode=78.26.209.208 addnode=162.243.101.139 addnode=77.121.61.203 addnode=107.170.123.55 addnode=218.146.3.80:3005 addnode=107.170.78.146 Photon is working ---- and with the hashrate of the merged mining pools it is working with a high difficulty and network speed. Strongly recommend only merged mining as solo mining is going to be out of reach now for anyone with 'normal' hashpower. Also onl sale at Atomic Exchange and All Crypt Links all on the main page --- Exciting times ---

The coin works fine in every setting I tested it. The only way I can explain you getting that error would be running a client of Photon that was from the initial release , before the code was modified for merged mining. Also to address the post above where I questioned about how you are showing an intensity of 16 on a miner that to my knowledge does not go up that high the member states you built it yourself. OK , most people who are skilled at the level to compile cg miner would not need help setting it up to mine. And yes I did post this 7 months ago https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/1446-if-you-want-to-mine-blake-coin-with-a-gpu-here-is-some-information/I was solo mining and the build of miner for solo mining allows intensity up to 20 , so you are correct in stating that I posted settings for mining Blake 256 that allow an intensity of 20. The miner I have for the merged pools (that I think is the same one everyone has /please correct me if I am wrong) goes to 14 max. I wanted to clairify this. Also again I think there are ways to optimize the .cl file to get higher hash rates. I have not figured them out yet. If I was solo mining (which I would not do when I can merge mine 5 coins at the same time) I would certainly recommend the builds of reaper with my settings (for a 7970) over cg miner, not only did it give slightly higher hash rates, i did a lot of testing and it seemed to solve more blocks. I posted this in October when the Blake Coin project was very new and I was not involved with it at the time. If it was not for the great work of those who optimized blake 256 for open cl most of us would be using cpu's..... Show some respect for them.
