Even if bitcoin and gold are very different both of them have very similar functions, the people that are storing gold or bitcoin are doing it because they do not trust in central banks and their ability to print as much money as they want, they are looking for something that cannot be printed at will and both gold and bitcoin have that characteristic so people are going to keep comparing them for a very long time.
