I believe that bitcoin is underestimated, I do not claim that it should only grow! But I'm sure that the future is for him! crypto currency in general, and bitcoin in particular - this is digital gold, many people still do not understand this. I'm sure that in ten years it will be so.
What makes you think many people do not understand what bitcoin is? There are lots of people in the world that knows about Bitcoin. The problem with some. Of you is that you think that bitcoin is everyhting while it is not. Bitcoin is an asset that can be owned, and you invest in it. Yes it is also money but it is not a currency (don't mind the currency in its name). So stop thinking that it will take over everything or whatsoever you are thinking that is going to happen in future because that's never going to happen. |

Well based on scarcity, Bitcoin supply is supposed to be limited to 21 million. While the supply of gold, on the other hand, keeps increasing anytime its price rises, and gold miner mine for it. However, both are important. And that's why investors should not dive to substitute gold for cryptocurrency in their portfolio)

I think the price of bitcoin is already above what the price of a gold. Gold is only bigger than bitcoin in market cap, Gold's market cap is way above that of bitcoin. Some people have said that the market cap of bitcoin is going to surpass that of gold in fifty years to come. I am not going to say whether it is true or not because I don't even know if that is going to happen, I can't say what's going to happen in fifty years time. When that times comes we will see whether it is going to happen or if bitcoin is going to even crash to a lower price. |

Bitcoin will become next storage of value.
With BTC price increase it will not be used anymore for daily trading so there will be some altcoins that will take this part on exchanges from BTC.

Bitcoin will be able to surpass gold when the market cap reaches $8 Trillion. For now, gold is still the leading stock with a market of $7.5 trillion and Bitcoin is still very far from that, as it is still hovering around $100 billion+. I don’t know if Bitcoin will ever surpass the market cap of gold, but if it will, then its probably going to take a very long time. |

After humanity starts to move mining into Space gold will lose his value (or stay at current) as it will not be as valuable as before. Reason: In space you can find tons of gold and you don't even need to go into Deep Space... The moon has tons of Gold so supply will not drop only rise, but Bitcoin will never go above 21 Million supply Cap!

Actually I don't understand why is Bitcoin compared with gold all the time. Yes, both Bitcoin and gold are types of investment but to my opinion they are not competition to each other and Bitcoin is not trying to replace gold as an investment.
Also, gold is more conservative and traditional type of investment that will always exist and Bitcoin is moder type of investment that attracts more inovative and risk prone investors.

Actually you can't compare those two because first of all they are differ from each other. Gold has been widely used from past uptil now so it is impossible for bitcoin to surpass this one. Bitcoin is much better for being an asset for trading and investment like gold but not exactly. Crypto is much better to be used in online transaction and gold for physical transaction. |

Yes I am sure bitcoin will come to the position once again because now market is getting green, recently price has become 6k which is on progress to rise.
