I never made comparison between the gold and the bitcoin. Why? Becauss I always thought that there will be no good to happen even if I compare these two. Anothing is that, this two is different from each other. Honestly, I wpuld be glad if both the Bitcoin and the Gold will remain in our future. Not sure if it will happen that easily said than done. It may takes years to happen because btc is growing and people are accepting it as it is adding to the ease in their life in many things. Also it is helping them to make some money from the upward movement.

  Yes gold and bitcoin both are not the same, for me gold is like only jewelry and bitcoin is an investment, both has value and importance, we can buy bitcoin with trust that price will rise higher but gold does not have that much value to be an investment because it increases very low in price, better if we invest all in bitcoin which is the greatest investment.

Already surpassed it, the reason why goverments keep using gold instead of bitcoin is simple:
Goverments have the control of gold, the Bank of England have the gold of a lot of countries, Fort Knox in USA, some countries have their own reserves; they control it. Bitcoin, in the otherside, is anywhere, it can be mine for anybody, and goverments lose control of it.

Bitcoin will never be taken serious because gold and fiat gives the control of the world to bankers and goverments.

Yes it is not good to put any doubt over bitcoin,  for me it is best technology which can give you best of your future savings, those who are not buying right now when the price is affording will be sad later, because when you invest in bitcoin at low price or at red market it rises in price faster and gives profit to the investors.

For me the day is not so far when only bitcoin will become valuable but all other investment will lose value, gold is being use as an investment but only by old people,. If you ask me I will say that Bitcoin is not replacing anything, not even gold like some people do say. Bitcoin is good, but it will be a thing on its own and not serving as a replacement. There will still be gold, gold cannot be replaced, everything has what's makes it very important and by the way, gold is one of the most valued stocks in the world. I don't see why anyone would reject it.

Cryptocurrency is something different and interest varies, everyone has what they like best. That you like cryptocurrency the most doesn't mean that other people are going to like cryptocurrency too, they might decide to go for something else they believe is going to benefit them.
