If you mean in terms of market capitalization, it will definately will despite Gold market capitalization worth billions of dollars. Bitcoin will cash up because the way the price of Bitcoin is moving now, some money will surely leave Gold in favour of bitcoin in no distance time

Yes right and as we know the less supply of bitcoin the more value it will be so I think it is possible to see bitcoin more valuable than gold in future, now gold is not worth investing we are in 2019 so we have so many better options it was only applicable when people were not having any other option but investing in gold so I prefer investing in crypto currency the most specially bitcoin. |

And to store Billions of $ in Bitcoin you don't need a very big room and security etc like for Gold at the same value. |

Many people ask about this, the similarity between gold and bitcoin is both an investment commodity. but both have differences. Gold has a stable value while bitcoin tends to change rapidly.
there is no reason to replace gold, gold has special features and is proven hundreds of years ago.

If demand continues to rise or remains same as well it will easily surpass gold as returns in crypto is far better than that of the gold . But yes gold is widely accepted and btc by far is still being not accepted in few counties which could be another reason . |

Bitcoin if we look at price already surpass gold, but if we look globally gold is still used by every government as leverage. Every country use this for every money credit they use they use gold as leverage. Basically the more gold they have stored the more money they can take loan. On this bitcoin is still far away for usage of this.

But yes gold is widely accepted and btc by far is still being not accepted in few counties which could be another reason . Well, time to time bitcoin will have a mass adoption just like gold if they are the same time found maybe bitcoin now can surpass the gold since gold was the first found than bitcoin. I never doubt with bitcoin I think it has a high chance to surpass gold because I believed on bitcoin that in more demand and less supply will make expensive itself. But who knows, let just time can speak and wait. |

Due to the relative low number of bitcoin to go around in future many researchers belives that the market cap of bitcoin will likely surpass that of gold. Bitcoin have a huge upside potential so i believe it will surpasa gold in the future

I really doubt the possibility of bitcoin surpassing gold, I mean in the event of an EMP strike on the world, would gold be rendered useless or crypto? I like crypto but I really doubt the possibility, I guess this topic was just brought up to just bring about arguments..lol

I believe that bitcoin is underestimated, I do not claim that it should only grow! But I'm sure that the future is for him! crypto currency in general, and bitcoin in particular - this is digital gold, many people still do not understand this. I'm sure that in ten years it will be so.
Gold is a metal and it's only for fashion. Bitcoin is digital currency so the currency is necessary everywhere not Gold. So, the day is not so far when Bitcoin will be one of all of any currency or asset. |

I don't think that the goal of Bitcoin is to compete with gold. Bitcoin price might surpass gold but gold will still survive as an investment. It's one of the oldest assets of value that people trust the most. And I think that Bitcoin investors and gold investors differ and there will always be those who will prefere one above the other. In general, Bitcoin and gold shouldn't be compared. |

One ounce of the bitcoin worth for 1 Bitcoin few years before but after that bitcoin crossed many miles so really bad to compare it with different value or something. I believe bitcoin will crossed 9k USD again this coming weekend or Eid time. Lets see what will be the result in coming days. |

One ounce of the bitcoin worth for 1 Bitcoin few years before but after that bitcoin crossed many miles so really bad to compare it with different value or something. I believe bitcoin will crossed 9k USD again this coming weekend or Eid time. Lets see what will be the result in coming days. bitcoin will do very well at the end of this year through to the middle of next year due to the up coming halving, bitcoin will set a new ATH before the end of 2020 so whoever hav3 enough money and wish to invest in bitcoin shouldn't be afraid to do so, not investing now will only bring regret when the highs begin to come, as for me, I've made it a habit to buy small amount at every dip on weekly basis |
