Count down to Iran invasion

Exactly. Most people outside the region have no idea how correct this is... Let me give those people a fresh example:

Soon after Israel started genocide in GAZA back in 2023, Western leaders supported that genocide by saying that Israel has the right to defend itself. If Israel has the right to defend itself by killing unarmed civilians then Iran also has the right to defend its land against US and Israel invasion which is against international laws.

The biggest loser of this war are gulf countries, they are not only suffering because of closure of Strait of Hormuz but also bearing the damage done by Iranian missiles. As far as support to people of Palestine is concerned there is zero from any Arab countries leadership. I even saw a video in which a Palestinian showed that Arab countries are sending white coffins (Shroud) as an aid for people of GAZA, so that they can do burial of there loved ones. This is mentality of Arab leaders that they can't do anything to stop genocide going on in GAZA despite being so many in numbers.

Yeah, I noticed that whoever was filming the 5th fleet demise in Bahrain was in pretty high spirits.  Seems the case in other countries as well.

I was honestly kind of shocked when there was so little push-back on the Gaza genocide among the Arab nations.  At the very best, it seems that it might have slowed down their rush toward total capitulation in the form of the so-called Abraham Accords.

Bukele made a stunning turn-around in El Salvador taking it from one of the most dangerous countries in the world to one of the safest in just a few years.  This shows what can happen when the bad apples are identified and 'corrected'.  What made it possible was that the bad apples, in their infinite wisdom, tattoo their own faces.

In Saudi, for instance, they do a similar thing by putting table-cloths on their heads.

In America, they do something similar by taking AIPAC funding, and their faces are collated by the likes of https://www.trackaipac.com/congress.

Here's my guess about what is going on lately (after significant Iranian attacks on USreal airbases in Jordan).

As I said when this thing kicked off 10 months ago or so, Israel always did anticipate eventually attacking Iran with nukes, or at least getting pushed into a situation where that were 'necessary'.  Of course they would like to have Trump do it with US nukes, but it would always have been stupid to assume for sure that they could ensure that eventuality.  It would have made no sense to start things unless nukes were planned since without them the current situation as it stands today was quite predictable.

Iran would have known this, and their only realistic way to deal with it were to have enough nukes to counter-strike.  I suspect they started working in earnest on getting ready to take the final step at that time.  More importantly, they would have put a lot of resources into remaining a non-nuclear power until they in fact took a nuclear hit and were able to finish of their final assembly anyway.

As things progress and the U.S. is needing to pull farther and farther back, Israel is providing their main 'safe space'.  Especially after what happened in Jordan.  I suggest that Iran is not striking Israel primarily because they don't want to invite the inevitable nukes.  They probably just need some more time to further develop their counter-nuke strike potential and enhance the necessary backup capabilities since finalization of a nuclear counter-strike package details are necessarily complex (especially being accomplished under nuclear attack.)

Of course since Iran does not wish to be nuked, and their only hope is deterrent in nature, they also have to communicate to the right people in the right ways that they do indeed have a deterrent and that it is both strong and reliable.  This can take time and effort, especially if they do as I suggest, adopt Israel's strategy of ambiguity.
