I prefer to buy a lot of potential Altcoins. As you can see in the market nowadays, there are a lot of altcoins which are better than BTC in terms of transaction per second "TPS", Gas price and other features. These factors affect the appeal of the coin so much. Now that eth these days are having a terrible gas price, investors and whales will find another altcoin which they can use to avoid the horrible gas price of eth/btc. Also, the BTC network is clogged sometimes, due to this, many people will find a way to send cryptocurrency faster, thus they will choose altcoins which are faster.
