I don't trust their rating at all. Many have been mislead due to their rating about ICO projects. Sometimes they rate some ICO projects low and after entering the market they did well

correct and that is what rating site for but keep in mind that nowadays there are now fake websites that post fake reviews in order to miss lead people or worst they could have been scammed . there are also legit rating sites but the feedbacks can still be purchased on some random people on the internet to post a lie .

that is why , it is still recomended to do our own research aside from looking at the reviews that we see online .

I think it's no problem seeing the ICO rating site as a reference. but you should not make it the main benchmark. the thing to note when investing in ICO is the dev team, the whitepaper must be clear and the product of the ICO project. and also see sales of softcap.

They didnt do a proper research on any ico projects as they give a good rating for scam icos. it proof they didnt do their homework before giving a high rate to scam icos. I can't judge the book by it's cover, what ico rating website post about ico aren't true, it is like a paid advertisement, it is important to dyor about that project before conclusion to invest or otherwise.

I have never trusted sites like IcoBench as it seems they take money for high ratings, if not, their reviewing/rating team is pretty clueless. Even more trusted sites like IcoDrops have started investing in projects so they are not completely neutral, but at least they are transparent about it.

That's true though, nothing of that sort of sites completely dedicated for the sake of community but instead that kind of site was made from the beginning to be a money maker machine and money grabber
I even see so many people coming with that kind of site into an ICO telegram group offering advertisement slot and that's ridiculous

I got only an idea in ICO rating sites but not really trust it because there are so many things to check wether the ICO project is good or just scam. I got an idea to do more research before I am convince that the project is worth investing and promoting for. Like studying the white paper and their roadmap. The teams and the scope of their project.

do you have an article or very strong evidence if you want to get a rating of 5 they only need to pay 10 ETH? because what I know to get a rating of 5 requires a study for ico experts not with 10 ETH
