There is very little new money in the crypto currencies right now, bitcoin can't take a lift-off either, there are some efforts to pump it, but no luck, not enough time passed since the last hype and bubble. No new money means it's all the same users, the user base of crypto currencies isn't growing at the rate like for example it grew a few months ago when bitcoin and everything else was rising. Until that happens again, the same limited capital will be rushing from one coin to another, in pump and dump efforts. Too many coins around, too little capital. But myriadcoin will survive, everyone can mine it. The main goals are: stable mobile app and electrum client. And marketing, but marketing right now is useless, it will not fall on anyone's ears. Marketing should start when the next rise of crypto currencies begins. Bitcoin makes false not convincing starts now, this doesn't look like a new rise, have to take patience and wait. Summer is a slow season generally for crypto currencies and anything else.

That's the crucial point: Exploding number of coins, no new money.

Bitcoin's difficulty is 10.5 bln. Miners have to dump bitcoins just to cover costs at (almost) no profit. Until this new money comes into crypto currencies, which will likely be triggered by banking crisis and bail-ins, no liftoffs here. People have to get scared for their money in the banks to really start buying cryptos. This is not happening yet on a large scale. I reckon we'll see bitcoin floating around $600 for the next 3 months, which should correspond to the 200 MA in Technical analysis by August. After that and shaking off a lot of weak hands, some life will re-emerge, timidly. Summer is a slow season. Go to the beach, get some sunshine

I have tried to close & re-open, I also have deleted my AppData folder, on a fresh wallet imported just my private key - nothing, then imported the whole wallet - nothing helps. Any ideas?

Double check you inputed the right address, after that go to the network options see what server you're connected to, uncheck auto, manual connect to the other server.

I have just the same system: Q6600@3GHz+6770 MD 1Gb.
Getting ~5.6MH/s on Groestl algo - and that is the most profitable algo for that card in most of the time... Just 5xxx and 6xxx series gets more hash power on Groestl compared to other algos. But I would run MyrSwitcher - to be sure you're getting the most profit you can

go groestl for your gpu and qubit for your cpu.

we should replace all algos with x11 x12 x13 x14 and x15 implement darkestsend and cut inflation to the current amount mined and put pos 1% per decade also a multipool that mines all coins at once and sells them to buy all myr on the market in one fell swoop, that way we can sell our myr at whatever price we want.

I don't understand, why do you bring everything to such an absurdity?
The multi-algo system of Myriad is great and has many advantages compared to existing coins and such system is very prospective. But the coin system is only basis, on which all other things are being build. The fact is good basis is necessary but it is not sufficient. It's like you make a car with great and powerful engine but with wooden seats and square wheels. Of course buyer will choose the other more comfortable car with a less powerful engine, but with round wheels and leather seats. Don't you agree?

My point is that we have to find and implement best solutions and innovations   that are good not for pump&dump day-traders or people who want to make fast money (POS, short halving period etc), but for  "average Joe", who will use MYR as cryptocurrency in future (i mean darksend or other interesting features), as soon as they appear in market.

Or one day there will be some other coin with multi-algo which will include this innovations, and people will use it instead of MYR, because it is more convinient and has more feautures. Do you understand it? This is just evolution, the competitive struggle. You are better - you survive. Comprende, amigo?


The ability to send money anonimously (like darksend technology) is really necessary for cryptocoins I think. That's one of the points, why DRK  become so popular.

Why don't we wait until the DRK bubble is done crashing and the Darksend feature actually works and is open-sourced before panicking to provide this feature.
